New Inn — Restaurant in Lancaster

The New Inn is exactly how I remember pubs being when I first started boozing in the mid-70's. Welcoming locals, jukebox to die for, lovely beer garden for lovers of "coffin nails" & "Harry Wraggs". Landlady is the much loved by Morecambe folk, JAN. The pub is situated on Poulton Square at the end of Lord Street (past Gala Bingo) 😇 ♥️ Just an update in August 2020, Jan has opted to work less hours than running a Public House requires and now brings her experience and local knowledge to bear in The Smugglers Den. Great little pub. Just had a quick half and 2 bags of crisps while I was waiting for my partner in church across the road. Dog friendly too. Took my Dachshund in and the land lady gave him treats....
