1 star is generous to say the least. Our night was ruined by an extremely rude bouncer named Erol (apparently, according the to general manager, who was also ignorant of the behaviour said member of staff displayed). The doorman decided to insult a close friend of my party with 'you're a speccy four-eyed, ugly bch' without any provocation - a strange comment as the man was wearing glasses himself. After being questioned why he had made this comment, he followed it up with 'you're a c*'. Understandably upset by the offensive comment, we attempted to speak to the manager but all he could do was defend the vulgar individual and he then refused to provide the door staff's badge number (something which has to be given on request by law). It is absolutely shocking how many reviews there are, not just on Google, but also on their Facebook page, stating the same issues with the door staff, yet nothing is ever done about it. How strange! It's almost as if the manager doesn't care - I'm sure you can sense the sarcasm. The doorman works for Phoenix Security, who have already been contacted about him and the SIA will also be...

Staff are rude and aggressive. Whilst getting my change my drink spilt all over the bar (which I might add, has a ledge/lip on it) I asked for a replacement and was refused. A friend had replaced my drink and this was thrown to the floor by the bouncer as I was forceably removed for asking for contact details of someone above the 'manager' on duty. My friend was also refused a refund as 'the door states no refunds' despite that the bouncer literally shook it out of my hand whilst grabbing my arms and dragging me from the building.

Great venue! I pre booked seating and a Prosecco drinks package for a hen party of 18 people. We got a whole VIP section to ourselves with a member of staff on the rope to stop people entering who weren’t part of our party. We booked from 10:30pm until 12:30am but once the time was up we weren’t asked to leave as I don’t believe the area can be booked after that time so we got the stay. We had a great night, the staff were really attentive and kept checking if we needed anything, we even got a tray of free shots from our host Ella. Non of our party had ever been to a Pop World before but we will certainly be back, the music was brilliant… good work Mr DJ, we danced the night away until the early hours. I would definitely...
