Never actually been into this bar (I’m probably a bit too old for Call Lane these days!) but placed an online order during lockdown for a beer & pizza gift set and some cocktails. I was even able to order the cocktail shaker. Absolutely fantastic! Ordered before 2pm and got same day delivery! Beautiful fresh, quality ingredients & all the lovely little finishing touches like garnishes, ice and beer mats, made this extra special and turned it into an experience rather than just another food/drink delivery. Enough to put a smile on anyone’s face during lockdown. Staff were so friendly & helpful when I called up with a query, as was the guy who delivered. This place… amazes me. “Roland”, from old germanic “Hrōd” — the famous land. And let me tell you, does this place live up to the name! “The Famous Roland’s” as my buddies and I like to call it; a place to come for laughs, libations, and the epic highs and lows of life. It’s a place that makes you, sit, reflect and dare to say “I think I’m gonna like this little life.”

Tables too small though, I am 8 feet tall.

Speakeasy style bar with a cosy ambience. Not the most comfortable bar stools though! Not too busy, but it was a Monday night. Really friendly and helpful staff. They offered mocktail options to my friend who wasn't drinking alcohol and offered to make a bespoke cocktail. The espresso Martini was average. The French Martini was lovely.
