Rollette Cafe — Restaurant in Leeds

Food was way overpriced every thing is priced as a add on, to pay extra for a coffee on top of a full breakfast which was expensive and microwave quality is not acceptable. We came in a group of 6 and pretty much every one felt short changed. Waited over 25 mins, things came in dribs & drabs toast stone cold, Beans were burnt. To request hot items we were quizzed and looked down on, At these prices you would expect some sort of standard. When we raised our issues to the owner his attitude was simply take it or leave it. Shocking attitude no customer service at all and quite frankly very rude. Would not come back here, more friendlier places with better food and service...

Me and my partner have been regularly coming here for the past 12 months, never once have we had a problem with any aspect of the cafe, food always brilliant, service amazing and the atmosphere is just how you want it to be. Safe to say that on the 1st Jan there was a new guy on the till, we found him to be quite rude with poor customer service, didn’t welcome us or even make eye contact when ordering. I asked about having my bacon not as well done, as previously it has been slightly tougher than I like, he made out to me that it was either well done or don’t order it. This was our first time visiting and unfortunately I won't be returning.

My husband and I ordered two piri piri chicken panini's and we were both really disappointed in the quality.

We paid £15 for 2 panini's that were so extremely spicy and tasted nothing like piri piri. It was more like a curry paste and just too much of it used on the chicken. It was overpowering and really paste like - really unbearable to eat.

Hardly any cheese or anything else inside the panini (we were offered chips and both declined yet we were still charged the same price)

Really disappointed to have wasted £15 on 2 sandwiches that are inedible.
