We started visiting cotc regularly during 2020, I'd just moved nearby and was so convenient to grab a coffee and walk through the park.
The coffee is really great, and they definitely put care into each one, they aren't rushing to churn them out like the chain coffee shops do.
The almond croissants are amazing, if you get them when they're super fresh they're the best I've ever had. The other pastries and cakes are also great, and a decent selection.
Even now we've moved out of the local area we still try visit every month or so, the 4 mile walk is definitely worth it!
My only small negative, is how few tables there are and how uncomfy the seating is. Would love to sit in and relax with a coffee & croissant but don't find it to be the right place for that. Some tables are in front of the counter and can get cowded by people queueing which isn't ideal. Though it is a small shop and so appreciate there's not really an alternative layout.
Definitely recommend this place, especially for a quick visit or takeaway. And if you're in headingley it's well worth the short walk/bus to hyde park to go here rather than the chain places. Much better...

Read moreI had a fantastic visit to @coffeeonthecrescent , and it definitely lived up to its great reputation.
Food: The Pork & Apple Sausage Roll had a delicious mix of savory and sweet, while the Cheddar & Tomato Toastie was crisp, cheesy, and comforting. For a sweet treat, I indulged in an Almond Croissant and a Chocolate & Hazelnut Cruffinâboth were perfectly baked, flaky, buttery, and packed with nutty goodness. The Flat White was smooth and well-balanced, though Iâm keen to explore more coffee bean flavours on my next visit.
Environment: The cafĂŠ has a cosy, welcoming vibe, ideal for catching up with friends. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.
Location: Itâs in a great spot, easy to find, and well worth a visit if youâre in the area. With quality food, great coffee, and a cozy setting, this cafĂŠ has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites!
â Overall: Coffee on The Crescent is a wonderful cafĂŠ with delicious pastries, expertly made coffee, and a welcoming vibe. Iâll definitely be back! â đ˝ď¸
