We started visiting cotc regularly during 2020, I'd just moved nearby and was so convenient to grab a coffee and walk through the park.

The coffee is really great, and they definitely put care into each one, they aren't rushing to churn them out like the chain coffee shops do.

The almond croissants are amazing, if you get them when they're super fresh they're the best I've ever had. The other pastries and cakes are also great, and a decent selection.

Even now we've moved out of the local area we still try visit every month or so, the 4 mile walk is definitely worth it!

My only small negative, is how few tables there are and how uncomfy the seating is. Would love to sit in and relax with a coffee & croissant but don't find it to be the right place for that. Some tables are in front of the counter and can get cowded by people queueing which isn't ideal. Though it is a small shop and so appreciate there's not really an alternative layout.

Definitely recommend this place, especially for a quick visit or takeaway. And if you're in headingley it's well worth the short walk/bus to hyde park to go here rather than the chain places. Much better...

For a sweet 10-minute walk from the University, the iconic coffee shop ⭐️Coffee on the Crescent⭐️ is right in front of you. No matter what you’re looking for, the lovely spot has it all ready for you! 🏡 that’s what I call home

All pastries, savouries, and sweet treats are freshly prepared every day to give customers the best experience during their stay 🥐🥪 I’d suggest visiting the shop during weekday mornings to best capture the shop essence and cozy atmosphere ☀️

For a light meal (pastry/sandwich + coffee) that costs between £6-9, I would say the shop has been able to offer a really great deal 💰 The coffee tastes perfect, no matter it’s served hot or iced 🧊 There’s also an extensive range of meat, vegetarian, and vegan food options available - cinnamon buns, sausage roll, hummus sandwich, and more! If you’re craving for some icy, remember to try their ice-cream as well 🍦

Given that most products are prepared fresh on the spot, I think there’s anything more you could ask for 🤤

p.s. the shop supports local artists around the community!! go and check out all the lovely prints, cards, and books on display when...

I had a fantastic visit to @coffeeonthecrescent , and it definitely lived up to its great reputation.

Food: The Pork & Apple Sausage Roll had a delicious mix of savory and sweet, while the Cheddar & Tomato Toastie was crisp, cheesy, and comforting. For a sweet treat, I indulged in an Almond Croissant and a Chocolate & Hazelnut Cruffin—both were perfectly baked, flaky, buttery, and packed with nutty goodness. The Flat White was smooth and well-balanced, though I’m keen to explore more coffee bean flavours on my next visit.

Environment: The cafĂŠ has a cosy, welcoming vibe, ideal for catching up with friends. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

Location: It’s in a great spot, easy to find, and well worth a visit if you’re in the area. With quality food, great coffee, and a cozy setting, this café has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites!

⭐ Overall: Coffee on The Crescent is a wonderful café with delicious pastries, expertly made coffee, and a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back! ☕ 🍽️

I startled the staff with my seemingly strange order. “Could I have a Freddo Cappuccino”, I asked. Their response, “it’s not on the board, but we can try to make it for you”. How good is that for customer service? The resultant cold coffee based drink was above and beyond my expectations. What the barista at Coffee on the Crescent has created was indeed new. More an iced-whipped-flat-white than a standard Freddo Cappuccino. It looked sophisticated in a small glass and tasted beautiful. Coffee on The Crescent has so much merchandise to browse. It’s almost bordering on a trinket store. It’s a bright sociable place. A great meet up location for groups post park run or cycle ride. It has that “fit as a butcher’s dog” vibe.

Genuinely the best smashed avocado I've ever had. I mean look at it... And trust me, it tasted even better than it looked! I was starting in the area for the weekend and looking for a nice healthy breakfast on a Sunday morning, something that's not ready to give where I live. After googling I have this a go and wasn't disappointed. They have a great selection of teas, coffees, and pastries, all topped off with a vibrant, fresh, and healthy menu, perfect for brunch. The only disappointment is that it isn't closer to my home!
