Monks Road Cafe — Restaurant in Lincoln

Tried to book a room last week but didn't receive confirmation email so tried to book again again no confirmation email. Went on my trip anyway turned up at the bnb at around 2pm Sunday all the shutters were down no answer to the door tried ringing them 5 times no answer so ended up in a bnb called Newport arms. Shame really because the location of this bnb suited me better hence the booking. I often come to Lincoln to visit my sister so I was disappointed that I couldn't stay here. As long as it was warm and clean I would've been a good customer for them to have but o well...

Honestly didn't know ow what to expect from a small town local cafe, however the food was absolutely amazing top quality local sausages not only that but the portion was amazing for the full English considering I swapped a few items and the lady was happy to swap them for me. The cup of tea was a large cup which I was also pleased with and overall the price was spot on for what I ate and I feel more than satisfied...Definetly must try when you...

If you are happy to make your own bed, refill the tea and coffee hospitality tray yourself , empty your own bin, and listen to drunks screaming and shouting & swearing using the most foul language imaginable right next to where you are trying to sleep then ok,otherwise AVOID,AVO AVIOD.
