Came in on a Sunday afternoon to get some brunch. Waited for quite a while to be seated but this was not an issue because it was quite busy, however once we were seated a group of 6 came in and we were told that we would be moved again to a smaller table once some other customers were finished. So we ended up not even ordering until at least a half an hour after arrival.

As Iโ€™m a coeliac I chose this place for its gluten free options, and when I ordered I asked for a gluten free eggs Benedict but the waitress took no notice of the gluten free request until the third time I mentioned it, and if I had not noticed the first time that she did not write gluten free down for the order then I would have been served regular toast. On top of this, they had no gluten free bread in stock so I had to have potatoes.

We waited for food for probably about an hour and when it came out the waitress apologised for the lack of Hollandaise sauce and told me that I had been given a side of beans as compensation. However when I ordered I also asked for smoked salmon which was not present. Also, the food was cold. So my salmon eggs Benedict ended up being a few eggs with some potatoes and beans with a little bit of hollandaise.

The staff were obviously aware that their service was unsatisfactory and they apologised to us for this, offering us free drinks at first which they then rescinded instead giving us a 20% discount. While this was appreciated, this only really amounted to something like ยฃ2 or ยฃ3 off the total.

The staff did seem quite friendly and apologetic so I think we were just unlucky with things...

What an absolute gem of a place. We stumbled across this place on the way to our hotel. We were a rather peckish and in need of a good breakfast. Well I was in for a real treat. Hubby had full English and being in construction, he's had his fare share of full English breakfasts, some good some bloody awful. He absolutely loved it and said its by far the best he had ever had. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple. Usually you don't get enough maple syrup but you certainly got a good amount. Plate was full with a decent amount, but not too much. Its just seemed to be the perfect amount for the pancakes to soak up. Bacon was done nice a crispy and wasn't overly salty, but salty enough to counteract the sweetness of the pancakes and maple. Also the pancakes were definitely homemade which makes a refreshing change. The latte hubby had was nice and the right temperature, not cold but not so hot it takes the skin off your gullet when he drank it. My tea was decent quality too, and at last a place that serves up tea you can get a proper colour from. All in all its by far the best breakfast either of us have had in many a year, if not...

FANTASTIC, worth the wait. So let me make this clear why the waiting is long at busy times. A very very busy place but the staff are on point with cleaning tables, serving food and dealing with customers waiting. We waited 40 minutes for a table, then after the young lad took our order, we had to wait another 30 minutes for our table of four breakfasts. The lad couldn't apologise enough, but did explain the reason why, and that's what I want to tell so everyone understands. All the food is cooked from scratch from when the order gets to the kitchen. No hot lamps or hot plates, and defo no food is precooked and put into warmers.

We even went back Sunday, the following day and had our second breakfast and no waiting time, seated straight away and just a 20-minute wait for our four breakfasts.

I can honestly say one of the top 3 for best breakfast. Can't shout loud enough about this place, defo going back when we next visit Liverpool. keep up the...

Went here for a late breakfast with my friend. It has two entrances and the backside entrance is not quite visible but we managed to find it haha. Anyway, we ordered from their breakfast menu a Full English meal, one no meat brekkie, caramel latte, flat white and cortado. The food and coffee was amazing. We loved the breakfast, it was prepared and plated. However, we found the service quite slow, we did not get our coffees for like 20mins and had to ask for water three times. The place seemed a bit understaffed which was ultimately affecting the quality of service. All in all the place is amazing for breakfast, the prices are pretty reasonable and the taste is top notch. Also, the tastes of the coffees were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice cosy reasonable breakfast cafe.

Really enjoyed the breakfast here. Service was fast and polite. There were no issues with our orders but I noticed a number of surrounding tables had some errors (but I don't know the details or why but they were quickly corrected) Wasn't overly impressed with the coffee. Fine. But wouldn't choose it again. The eggs though...wow! I cannot fault the eggs bennie ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ they were perfection. The serving sizes were great and filling. The doors were open for ventilation which I appreciated. Didn't notice parking but bus stop right outside and withing walking distance of most places in the city. Didn't use the facilities but the overall aesthetic of the place was clean, bright and airy. If I'm ever back in Liverpool I'll absolutely be going back!

In central Liverpool Sunday breakfast is a struggle because everywhere seemed to be super busy. So we considered ours lucky to find this gem on Dale Street. It is located at an elevated basement level, so there are steps to go down to it, and maybe people might miss it - whatever the case was we were the better for finding it. The crew of smart young ladies were flying around getting things done with a smile and ease one looks for on a Sunday. I loved the food - in fact I had already started my Full Wotks English breakfast before remembering to take a shot of the plate and also the eggs Benedict my better half was enjoying. I will be back next time Iโ€™m in town
