Had an amazing time with my friends today! Even though I forgot my ID, the staff made sure we still had a lovely meal, even though we couldn’t enjoy the Bottomless Brunch. I had the katsu curry and smashed pancakes for dessert—both were absolutely 10/10! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a good atmosphere. One small issue, though: you can’t order the 0% mocktails without an ID, which seems a bit odd. So, make sure to bring your ID, even if you don't think you'll need it! But other than that, everything was spot on. The staff were friendly, the food was fantastic, and the music was a total vibe! Definitely a place to visit!

First thing is that you may need to think where should you sit. Prepare yourself to find a waiter or waitress who can help you with it. After I ordered a customized chicken burger, it had a fly sitting on it (this means that the kitchen seems to have some hygiene issues) I immediately brought the issue to the waiter's attention, he immediately apologized and changed the burger. The new burger tasted great that is the reason I have given 2 starts. But it would be highly appreciated if you make sure that there will not be any issues of hygiene in future. Give a weekend off to Abby!

Okay, here's a review for Slug and Lettuce based on your experience: Slug and Lettuce: A Disappointing Meal I recently visited Slug and Lettuce, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, my meal was far from satisfactory. I ordered the steak, and it arrived cold. The temperature wasn't the only issue; the steak was also incredibly chewy, making it difficult and unenjoyable to eat. This was really disappointing, as I've heard good things about Slug and Lettuce. However, based on this experience, I'm hesitant to recommend it.

A group of us (6) popped in for breakfast on our way home after spending a night in Liverpool. On arrival we asked staff if we could sit in one of the booths and we were told we could sit anywhere as long as it wasn’t reserved. So we found somewhere and settled down. We all had a small case each and put some of these under the booth seating and under the table but left a couple as we were all trying to fit into the booth first. We noticed the staff behind the bar staring at us but we’d checked with another member of staff and they’d said we could sit anywhere as long as not reserved and this table wasn’t. As we sorted ourselves out, one of the staff came over and told us we would need to move our cases, we explained that we were just getting into the booth then we would place the last few in under the table. Once settled we looked at the menu and you could order from the QR code but for some of us this didn’t work, so we went to order at the bar where 3 members of staff still stood and looking over at us! I went to order at the bar and was told by one of the 3 staff that one of the other staff members would take the orders. So I went to see him at the till. He was very friendly and smiley and about the only person who had some good customer interaction skills! Thank you to him, maybe called Jack? After we’d all ordered, some by QR code and some in person at the bar, we sat and chatted and waited for drinks and our food. Once again we noticed that the staff were looking over at us again and then talking, one of them rolling her eyes. We felt quite uncomfortable and we had ordered so didn’t want to walk out, but felt that we needed to bring this up. As the female staff member came over to give us cutlery, I asked where we ok to be sitting at this table as we’d noticed that she and 2 other colleagues had been looking over at us and appeared to be talking about us. She said that we were fine to sit there and said she’d only said we had to move our cases. We were aware of not leaving them out and explained it was because we were all waiting to be seated first. I explained that we felt she and staff were talking about us because they kept looking over and we’d noticed. The staff member then said I was being paranoid and that they weren’t talking about us, and that she was talking about the kitchen. I said I wasn’t being paranoid and it was quite obvious as they kept looking over at us! She said again that they had just been talking about the kitchen and then she left! She then served us our food, then came back again with a card to get some free drinks and her approach was very much over the top being friendly! Shame we were made to feel like we’d done something wrong as the constant staring was relentless! I come from a catering background as my family run restaurants and I know that this type of behaviour is unacceptable! Staff are there to provide an enjoyable dining experience and customers should not be made to feel like they are an inconvenience! I also know that to say to a customer that they are being “paranoid” is so rude! She shouldn’t have made that presumption about me and acknowledged what I had said with maybe an apology that I felt that way! I would suggest that staff are given training on how to provide a more positive experience for customers as the actual place is lovely and could be even better...

After being to Slug and Lettuce 3 weeks earlier in Birmingham I had high hopes for visiting the one in Liverpool for my Hen Do with my close friends and family however I walked away feeling incredibly disappointed. Our table was placed next to the stairs, this meant that we were lucky enough to see & hear every huff, puff & sigh that the waiting staff made as they moped around the venue. It was very disappointing to learn that almost half the menu was also not available for a peak Saturday afternoon timing and when we made an alternative the Fajita Pasta was far too hot & spicy for anybody to handle and the smothered chicken breast was as thin and tasteless as cardboard. We thought we were missing a handful of sides (this was misheard/communicated at the bar - no one’s fault) but when we questioned it we had 2 very abrupt members off staff storm over to the table and spoke down to us asking us if we were in capable of counting to 3. 15 minutes after we received our food & 1 hour before our table reservation ended we were asked 3 times at different places of the table if we were finished and if they could clear our plates away. Astonished we showed them our half eaten food and said that we were not yet finished. These waitresses walked away and returned with 3 ‘reserved’ signs for another party who had a table reservation half an our after ours would’ve finished - 1.5 hours early! After being treated so negatively and feeling rather rushed we decided to leave our table and slug and lettuce all with the view we will not be returning to this particular one.

Very...

We arrived here on Saturday for what was supposed to be an exciting brunch celebration! We were there to celebrate my hen!

It all started well where we were greeted by our host Carol. She brought out some Prosecco and was eager to take our drinks and food order. These came quickly and it was going well.

We had finished our first drinks and had to call her for more. The food then came out. The food looked great until I bit into my burger to find a long blonde strand of hair in it. I called someone over and it was taken away and a new one was made. I wasn’t offered anything for this. Again we had finished our second drinks. We had to again ask to be served! By this point we had been there an hour and 20 minutes and had two drinks each on a bottomless brunch. When we asked for more drinks we had attitude from our host! The other groups around us were being served and having loads of fun but we were just left in the middle not enjoying. We got given a third drink and drink these pretty quickly and again asked for another round with 20 minutes to spare on the brunch. The words from Carol were ‘I’ve only just brought round out’ I explained that we had only received 3 drinks each we were very unhappy with the service and she just made excuses.

On top of this there was a couple behind us in a booth giving eachother sexual favours under the table!

It was a very disappointing experience on what was supposed to be a fun day for myself and my girls! We’d come from Swansea for a weekend of fun and this left us very...
