Lady of Mann — Restaurant in Liverpool

I've been coming to this pub for years, recently I found something quite interesting on a Saturday evening. It was circa 19.00 hours. There were plenty of bar staff awaiting the usual on slought of custom, as a result of this there was time for some communication with the staff. As a small group arriving to a relatively 'popular' bar the staff were very confident, (aka couldn't give a toss about customer service) I asked for a pint of the IPA which was £6.50! I questioned this naturally as I thought I'm not in bloody Iceland, to which the reply was "try and get this pint anywhere else" it's a wonder how breweries survive on only selling beer to one establishment?? Oh and 11 nicker for a double gin...owing to this I'd stick to Rigbys over the yard, more reasonable in prices...That being said it's like the staff don't want to be there?? This a very good pub and a nice pub in Liverpool just a long side Thomas rigbys . And a very good place to have a quiet pint or a drink lots of place to sit down here and very clean inside this pub is highly recommended a visit and a good place to have a function or party ... I’ve always loved coming here as it’s a fabulous bar but I do think the staff need a lesson on hospitality. The music was absolutely BLARING and I asked if the music could be turned down just a smidge as my mother in law is hard of hearing, only for the girl behind the bar to turn the music up, significantly! Super, super unprofessional. Not to mention the absolute dirty look she gave me - given im probably only 2 years older than her and spent my most of my life working hospitality so I know what it’s like being pounded by guests, but to turn the music up after being politely asked for it to be turned down a smidge , maybe a level down not 10! - absolutely snotty and entitled...
