Came here tonight really looking forward to visiting one of our favourite real ale pubs in Liverpool.
Obviously Covid is on the increase again, was the Baltic fleet bothered , absolutely
not. Yes they have a one way system in place (not being adhered to at all ) why because the two girls behind the bar were either too busy eating, drinking , wiping their mouths then serving customers with no hand cleansing at all, we watched for half an hour . Big lad behind the bar with ginger beard. Collected all the glasses, hands inside every glass, then went massaging his mates shoulders (4 congregating at the bar, not allowed ) he

It is real spit and sawdust but so welcoming, especially with the woodburner going. Great selection of ales including some brewed by the pub. Holty, James sends his regards..... Lots of stuff on the walls and although most of the pub is accessible there are parts with steps. Some onstreet parking but if you are using the local YHA as a base.....it is about 2mins down the road so a great place for a last tipple on the way back form the...
