Visited on Saturday evening, there was a steady stream of customers some dining in, some picking up takeaways. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We ordered the sliders as my husband wanted to try 3 of the different burgers, he's a carnivore but he liked vegetarian option "The Nice One" the best, he said it's the best halloumi he's ever eaten. The Beak bites are moist strips of chicken breast coated in the scrumptious Beak coating. The fries are crispy, not greasy and the curry sauce is nice & thick. After visiting Beak Crosby for takeaway in the past, we were made up to eat in at Smithdown and it means desserts are also on the menu 👌🏼 The home made chocolate brownie has just the right level of gooeyness and the key lime pie has a fab, zesty zing to it. 100% recommend and can't wait to visit again next time we come...

If there's such a thing as a luxury chicken shop, BEAK takes the crown. With a speakeasy atmosphere and comfy seating, this is an alternative date night. The thigh burgers are the standout menu item, I recommend The Belter One. The chicken is extra crispy and you can even try three or more burgers by opting for sliders. Malt milkshake is also difficult to find, so an excellent opportunity to try it out, especially if you enjoy maltesers.
