I visited the restaurant with friends for dinner and we had a good time. None of us have been here before, so we had quite some questions about the place that have all been answered patiently. The waitress was very helpful in advising what dishes would fit our appetite best (which turned out to be spot on) and she was very knowledgeable in regard to allergies too, as were her colleagues whom I spoke to upon ordering and when asking about how they handle fried goods. They do have dedicated gluten free kitchen areas to avoid cross-contamination and seem to take the matter seriously. They have a good range of gluten free options, some of them are even vegan and as I am allergic to dairy & wheat/gluten I was happy to have so many options to chose from. I chose dishes that were made up of very different spices to get an as diverse as possible impression of the menu and indeed, the food was very rich in flavor yet it was well-balanced within and between dishes. Although to my taste, the fried okras were too salty, my friends liked them as they were. The dishes were served quickly, in seperate boxes, which makes it perfect to share (if possible considering allergies/food preferences). The dining room is spacious and bright, however, interior & concept of the place are designed to be more like a fast-casual/fast-food restaurant than actually sitting in to stay. It's a good place to go to when you're out and about and want quick and good dinner. Quality of the dishes is good, with intense yet well-balanced flavors, it's satisfying and staff is welcoming and friendly, prices...

Bundobust in Liverpool is a gem for anyone seeking flavorful, authentic Indian street food with a modern twist. Known for its impressive range of vegan dishes, Bundobust doesn’t just cater to plant-based diners—it celebrates them. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to offer traditional flavors, using fresh ingredients and spices that leave a lasting impression.
One of the standout items on their menu is the “Bhel Puri”—a tangy and crunchy mix that perfectly balances flavors. The “Okra Fries,” a fan-favorite, are crispy, slightly spicy, and the kind of snack you’ll find hard to share. For those looking for a heartier dish, the “Chole Saag” (chickpeas in a rich spinach and spice sauce) is comforting and deeply satisfying.
Beyond the food, Bundobust’s environment is something special. The interior has a rustic charm mixed with a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that makes it ideal for casual meet-ups or cozy dinners. The seating arrangement, along with the open view of the kitchen, gives a sense of community that’s rare to find.
And if you’re looking for the perfect accompaniment to your meal, their Nimbu Pani is a must-try. This classic Indian lemonade is refreshing, lightly spiced, and a great way to cleanse the palate between bites. It’s a drink that not only enhances the meal but also captures Bundobust’s spirit—a fusion of authenticity and innovation.
Overall, Bundobust Liverpool offers a fantastic dining experience for vegans and non-vegans alike, with unique dishes, an inviting atmosphere, and drinks like the Nimbu Pani that will keep you...
