One of my favourite liverpool independents! I’ve only been a couple of times but never want to leave! Love the fact that it’s a coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night (and you can still get a coffee at night- bringing a European coffee culture to Woolton Village!). Staff are really lovely, the coffee and cocktails are great, and attracts a really friendly bunch of people- it’s the kind of coffee shop you can chat to the person next to you no bother. Not only did they fail to offer me a menu, but despite their website claiming food service until 3:30 PM, I was bluntly denied food at 3:04 PM. This experience was truly disappointing, especially after a 20-minute journey just for a midday coffee. Read moreCame in late on Sunday afternoon as needed to feed the baby and had our 19 month in his little car. We were sat at the table closest to the door and due to our son's car very slightly obscuring the doorway, the larger lady with glasses came over and asked us to move it as it was "annoying!" (her actual customer service trained vocabulary).
A polite request would have been fine but felt this rudeness was really poor.
