Park Cafe — Restaurant in Liverpool

Ordered online via UberEats. Took ages to arrive and when it did everything was stone cold. The cappuccino was half a cupful and stone cold. Toast was soggy and cold. Poached eggs missing from the Avocado and Salmon breakfast. Poached eggs on the 4 Poached eggs and toast meal were more like boiled egg, rubbery, cold and no yolk on 3 of them. Toast was anaemic.Iced coffee was flavourless even with the paid for Hazelnut syrup because the ice had melted and it wasnt a full cup.It's bad enough when one thing is wrong but to have missing items, stone cold food, stone cold cappuccino and rubbery eggs is a joke. I thought I'd treat my Daughter to a nice breakfast for her birthday and what a disaster it was. I may as well as threw my money straight into the bin. Never again!

It clearly states on your menu that 2 poached eggs are supplied. I attach a picture of your own menu as proof as to what you have stated in your menu. Are you aware that stating poached eggs in the particular meal and you now saying you don't supply them is actually misleading the public into them thinking that you do get poached eggs when infact you don't? That's misdescription of which Trading Standards will be interested in. If you state that it comes with poached eggs you should supply poached eggs. Regarding the cold food and drinks... if you can't guarantee hot food to a location then don't supply to a location of which you yourself know the food is likely to be cold by the time it gets there. Also no insulation supplied to keep the food hot. Your response still doesn't explain undercooked toast, rubbery eggs, half a cup of cappuccino... what is your reason for that? Looking forward to your response regarding your explanation as to how poached eggs have put themselves on your Avocado and Salmon...

Placed an order online, (£31.77 total order value) including delivery and charges through just eat.

Overall we have been left a little disappointed as we were placing this order to make things more convenient, I wasn't expecting fine dining but I did expect to be satisfied!

We ordered a big breakfast, bacon & sausage bagel, 5 hash browns, Latte and a twix, which came free with the order.

The process was easy to order and it was delivered within a reasonable time frame.

The big breakfast (£12.92), was served in a polystyrene tray, the items were a good temperature the sausages were nice and i really enjoyed the black pudding, I love plack pudding. The advertised poached eggs were replaced with a broken, over cooked fried egg and the toast was packed separately in a paper bag which resulted in the toast arriving wet through so inedible. The tinned tomatoes and beans were packed in two small sample containers with the breakfast. Not enough tomato.

The breakfast bagel (£6.33) - unfortunately was not sent therfore we had to go out to get our daughter some breakfast! Defeating the object of making this order!

5 hash browns (£5.97) - which we was going to share were also soggy but they were given to our daughter so she had something to eat whilst we ate our breakfast and until something else could be arranged for her.

Coffees were fine one came with the breakfast the other one was a latte (£3.94) - clingfilm wrapped around to protect the food but the twix (Free) had been packed with them and was therfore a melted mess.

It would definitely make me think twice about going to this venue in the future. But I'm sure if you went into the cafe rather than ordering online an improvement would be possible as it would be difficult...

Since the original lady Karen sold the cafe, the food had slowly gone bad, from the cheap bread they use for the toast to how many toast you get with a large breakfast and everything in between, the new owner daughter the young girl with glasses very rude and doesn’t have any people skills, I avoid going in when she is there, plus she’s always blowing her nose, 🤮, the original staff that are there are nice, the sausages are still nice, but the food is definitely not cooked fresh to order as it’s just warm when comes out, for the price the bread/toast should be really good quality, don’t think we will ever go back, Shane because this place was my...
