Visited on a very quiet early Monday eve. Order 2 x mains , cauliflower steak and vegan pie and a falfal sharer. After ordering the server then came back and said there was no cauliflower, so I also ordered the pie. The server then returned and said there was actually no pie, so then my partner changed his order to sea bass and I went back to my original order of cauliflower. We asked for the sharer plate as a starter but was told all the dishes would come together, which we were fine with. But my partners fish arrived, the sharer plate arrived but my dish did not. My partner had finished his main dish by the time my food came. There was a brief apology and we were told there was an issue with the till, but no compensation offered for the fact that we went to a restaurant but didn’t eat together!

When my food did arrive it was a massive chunk of cauliflower and tons of salad and peppers which looked as if they had been chucked on the plate in a panic. My partner said the fish was ok, the hummus sharer was fine ( nothing special) and the cauliflower was bland and just far too big.

We then got the bill as by this point we were keen to leave ( it was my partners birthday and we had had enough). The bill was put down on the table- but they had left the pies on so was far too much. So I then told the server who apologised and said they would bring it back over. When it was brought back over an extra glass of wine had been added on, so I had to go back and ask again. The person who brought the bill and card machine over for the final time seemed pretty irritated by them having to be there at all.

What an expensive waste of time- hugely disappointing. With the current world circumstances being what they are me and my partner don’t get to eat out much at all. This was a birthday...

This is a cracker. So 4 adults and 2 children, no space inside only outside i was told, the place was half empty because the empty tables were booked. I said i called and was told you couldn’t book. They said you can only book for big groups. By big groups, you mean tables of 4 by the looks of it. Anyway, we were sat outside and asked if the heaters could be put on (it is 9deg and October after all), oh no they don’t work. After waiting 20 mins for our food & drink to be ordered we waited another 30. There appeared to be more tables free inside by then but again, they were booked, and a table of 4 couldn’t possibly be made into a 6. 10mins later one plate of food came out. When we dared ask when the other orders would be ready, the reply of “the food comes out as and when its ready” (ahh, this ain’t a tapas gaff pal) based on the previous hour and the fact the gaff was half empty this could have been anytime before dark. Two brain cells managed to put two tables together inside and we were put next to crufts day out. Nothing quite like sharing your below par food with a greyhound with muzzle and dog trainers on, a pug which sounded like it had covid 19 and a little yappy terroir who seemed to dislike the greyhounds trainers, its owners kept asking it to be quiet but it defied their persistent requests, I guess because its just a dog. Food was average, cold, salty, but was told it was the last roast, so im lucky to get the scraps i guess. Now i only have farts to deal with all night. Oh, and the pints of camden were flat as a witches. Mayby it was just one of them days, mayby its because we had 2 toddlers. But definitely the worst experience iv had in...

We picked here as i have had a lot of health issues and sitting too long is painful so we really wanted to be out in the sun and comfy, I took my own heat pack and cushion and was relatively comfy initially. This time we arrived about 1 and it took about half an hour for anyone to even take our order. We were given our wine pretty pronto but we didnt get our food until way after 3. We asked a few times especially as people who had come in long after us were getting their food before us. To make matters worse they have a license for outside smoking and we were right by the smoking area. Yuk. We asked a few times about the food until eventually we were told that a big group.of orders hadn't gone through and as they were just now being put through we would have to wait until they got to our order in the line. So people who ordered after us continued to be given their food first. We said shouldn't those orders who had been missed, including ours, be given priority but apparently not 🤷‍♀️ We asked how long it would be and they wouldn't tell us. He said you can have your wine for free like it was a massive concession when we should have got the food for free. By the time we got the food I was so uncomfortable and it pain it ruined our special treat To top it off we asked for extra bread and never got it. Oh amd right at the beginning we had asked for water and after a couple more asks my sister went and got it herself! We highlighted all this at payment with the same member of staff and he was quite non plussed basically like we did what we could and you got free wine. Just such poor customer service. Food was OK, nothing to...

This place is so hit and miss. The first time we went was great, the second time wasn’t impressed. The third time was Mother’s Day and it was amazing, and on the back of this we visited for Father’s Day and it was like we went to a totally different pub. The veggie roast was £18, and it consisted of the pie, a piece of parsnip, a piece of carrot, a piece of tenderstem broccoli, a few roasties, a spoonful of sloppy mash and a yorkie. Totally not £18 worth of food and worlds away from the same meal on Mother’s Day where we were so full after it. Services is generally very slow regardless of how busy it is - have found this when visiting for just drinks or food and drinks. Such a shame and will be reluctant to visit again with it being so inconsistent

I booked lunch here as the last time I called in the place was packed out. It was a good choice though as we got a table by the conservatory doors with a nice breeze on a very hot day. A lot of thought has gone into the layout of the building and it has a great light and airy feeling with all the sliding doors open. We ordered chicken wings and the charcuterie board. The wait wasn't too long. The chicken wings had a nice hot sauce on them and were delicious. The board had a good selection of meat and cheese and was enough for a main meal. They had a good selection of beers and wines and we found the staff to be quite attentive. Mind you this was at lunchtime and it was fairly quiet, of an evening the place can be quite busy.

Absolutely terrible waited 40 minutes and had to ask the staff for a drink. Lad, who served didn't care at all very nonchalantly, came over and asked if we're ready for food and then let us order to then say 'oh we actually don't have any of that'. The roast was awful hard roast potatoes like bullets, under cooked brocoli and the beef was overdone an fatty. The only reason I give the atmosphere 3 stars was the cute doggo behind me. We had to ask for everything otherwise we never would've gotten anywhere. For 55 quid for two people won't be back.
