Acropolis Bakery — Restaurant in London

Hoooowwwwww have I not gone here before? I've walked by it a hundred times!

My excuse is that Acropolis has a large heating structure for savouries that blocks the view of an INCREDIBLE cornucopia of sweets and delicacies piled high and thick. I wish I had known about that before!

The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the entire ambiance is just very cozy. Lovely coffee and crêpes. But seriously, the sweets... Stunning.

If half the people who are packed in the bistro next door come here instead, they would find themselves very, very full and...

OMG!!! The most authentic greek taste. I can't describe how happily overwhelming is to enter and see all the selection of greek traditional fresh baked pastries,cakes, bread, hot and cold drinks. Compliments to the staff and owner. I can say I remember the real taste of pastry I only had in Greece. I would recommend everyone to enter and try their products. Very elegant and affordable. Second time I decided to add a pastry to my coffee. Coffee is always great however they always serve before regular guests or Greeks even if you are in line. Pastries are good but they don't know ingredients correctly. I bought a ham and cheese pastry last week and was not told there was tomato sauce in it. Not good for allergy. Today I bought a muffin, asked it there was any cinnamon because I don't like and was reassured there wasn't, however there was. Again very bad for allergy! They should...
