Amorino Gelato - London Long Acre — Restaurant in London

Came in on Sat night because I was craving Straciatella gelato and this location was on the way to our destination. The shop was busy with 3 staff or so. I took a look at the selection and found a good variety of flavors and they do look good. I ordered from the kiosk as the sign said and get the small one with 4 flavors. Let me say right away that the 3-star is because of the STAFF, not the flavors. The quality and flavors of the gelato was good and up to my expectations.

Anyhow the reason for the low rating is because the staff that was preparing my cone was basically having a joke and conversation with another staff where he was extremely taking this sweet time (no pun intended) and took a very long time between each scoop while laughing loudly and holding my cone right up to his face so God knows how much of his saliva got in my ice cream. And that happened for a while as I watched in horror right in front of home. This is the grossest service I've seen in a gelato shop and I couldn't enjoy or ate my gelato and it was wasted. This happened on Sat evening of August 19th around close to 9pm. Please re-train your staff to have a higher hygiene standard and like, do their job with...

Absolutely unethical & inhuman how they treating there Staff in this heat.

Yes i get it this place is amazing and they realy do delicious Ice creams BUT today i realise they don't really care about there staff at all. I went there for an ice cream after a long walk, it was super super busy, busier then usual and the staff was suffering with heat inside the store. I think there aircon was broken or not working. Everyone in the store "customers & staff" both was suffering. Seems like one of the staff members about to collapse on the floor but still they trying to smile & work. This is just inhuman & so wrong. If i was the boss i would have close the cafè for the day in this heat until i fixed the aircon. Make no mistake, all staff was working hard, running around but I'm sure they won't get anything for working like this kind of situation.

This place was simply AMAZING!!! I don't even know what words to use to describe the simple yet sheer pleasure it spins 😍

I loved it so much, very dainty but pleasant enough to serve the yummy ice cream they offer.

Not much sitting available around but the menu is sure not small and the servers are so good and professional.

Unfortunately this night we missed their crepes and waffles as they were finished but the ice cream is still the best I have tasted so far!

Next door to Zara and a walking distance from all the covent garden shopping splash 😁not far from the royal Albert hall as well.

There are many of them dotted around London but this one was very special not been to any other one yet though.
