Archies Restaurant delivers a delightful blend of comfort food and casual elegance that leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance feels warm and inviting, with modern decor, soft lighting, and a friendly buzz that sets the tone for a relaxed dining experience. The menu at Archies offers a thoughtful variety, with something for everyone—from hearty classics to lighter, health-conscious options. The starters set the bar high: the crispy calamari was perfectly cooked with a zesty dipping sauce, and the truffle fries were addictive without being overly greasy. For mains, the grilled chicken alfredo stood out—creamy, rich, and well-seasoned, served with a generous portion of pasta. The vegetarian burger was also a hit, packed with flavor and texture. What truly elevates Archies is the attentive service. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable, offering great suggestions without being intrusive. They maintained a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, making the dining experience smooth from start to finish. Desserts are not to be missed—especially the cheesecake, chocolate paired beautifully with vanilla ice cream. The drinks menu complements the food well. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered, making Archies a great spot for both casual meals and small celebrations. Whether you're dropping in for a quick lunch or planning a dinner with friends, Archies hits the mark on atmosphere, taste, and service. Overall, Archies Restaurant offers a well-rounded, satisfying experience that makes you want to return. It’s a gem that combines culinary comfort with consistent quality.

Based on the current rating - expected more from this cafe to be honest. Food was better than average but was let down by the service: breakfast arrived before drinks, no cutlery served with mains, so had to wait a few moments longer. No sugar or spoon for coffee (had to ask). Basically if they are charging 12.5% customer service fee for breakfast eat-in. They should have a better service then. Also with atmosphere got annoyed because table spacing wasn't equal and the table we were sit , it had too little space for me so we had to adjust table outself by moving it backwards. After asking if we could sit over there, which they have assumed (me pointing to) four seated table instead of two - we were told it may get busy and is reserved for more people (fair enough) ,but then seeing two "business men with laptops" getting 4 seat table just a 20 minutes later after sitting us.... They have some kind of double standards for allocating tables. So I didnt like that at all. Okay place to have breakfast , but if they are charging customers with 12.5% need to improve service and atmosthere areas to be able call themself as a 5 stars place.

Before coming into this cafe, I didn’t know what to expect since I am new to this area. However the atmosphere was very warm and inviting with very nice decor. The prices on the menu did seem quite pricey, a little bit more than I would like to spend on brunch, nevertheless the service was friendly, and even gave the dog a treat and a water bowl ☺️ The food I ordered was delicious, however for 13.50 it was a little bit much. It would be better if it came with more tortillas to dip the guacamole and refried beans in. (I ordered nuevos rancheros). Overall, I loved the atmosphere and service, food was great but a little pricey. However if I happened to be in the area again, I would come again.

I really can’t see what all the good reviews are about after having breakfast here. I do not normally leave reviews, but for some reason I was very annoyed after eating here.

I ordered a vegetarian breakfast: two poached eggs, toast, avocado, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, beans.

Firstly, the place is very overpriced. I paid £10 for the above. Two poached eggs, which were made very well, however, yolks were ever so pale - for £10 I would expect better eggs. The avocado was nice - crushed with lemon and had some good taste to it. The toast, tasted like descent quality sourdough, however it was not buttered and there was no offer of butter. The toast was also overdone which made it VERY hard - very difficult to cut with the blunt cutlery that was provided. The grilled tomatoes were, well, tomatoes. The mushrooms were grilled as if someone had left them on the grill and forgot about them - hard and dry. I then asked for some ketchup and brown sauce to wet my pallet enough to allow the food to glide down easier - I was presented with two tiny bowls, one with ketchup and one with brown sauce - to be completely honest, there’s more sauce in a Burger King sauce sachet than was in the bowls - it was enough for one bite, two at the most. The BBQ beans tasted homemade from scratch and were not bad. The service was ok, I was greeted well on arrival. I was given some tapwater at the start of the meal but during the meal I wanted to order a further drink. This did not happen as I was never given the opportunity to order another drink.

Overall, VERY overpriced for what you get and for the quality of the food and size...

I took my mum here for brunch yesterday, having been here once before & finding the whole atmosphere and food pretty good. Unfortunately we were both quite disappointed. Would love to see this place do well and being a local I was super excited when they opened, just hope they can smooth out a few things. Service was pretty slow initially, I had to go and ask for a menu after we’d been sitting down a while. The coffee wasn’t great, they use Climpson beans which I think is by far the best roastery in London, but the milk had been over heated, over frothed etc so flavour wasn’t really there. They got the food order incorrect, nothing major - I asked for smashed avo, when it wasn’t in the dish I asked the waitress if it was coming separately, she says ‘it’s in there’ - had to show her the insides of the sandwich to prove it wasn’t! The worst thing however is there was a ~10 minute gap between my breakfast arriving and my mums which is not on. We queried it, were told it’s coming next, only to see another table served all their breakfasts in the meanwhile. Seriously?! This is really not great customer service, I wasn’t going to sit and eat my breakfast whilst the person I’m with is still waiting on theirs.. by the time it did arrive it was fine, though obviously mine was a little cold by then. I do want to try Archies again so I hope they’ll take some of this feedback on board and maybe next time the coffee will be awesome and the food timings will...
