I really don’t feel good adding this review but it has to be done. My friend and I met up for food and drinks and couldn’t decide where to eat. We fancied Italian, I love Italian food and we chose you. We arrived chatting and happy and were greeted by a person who greeted and seated us appropriately, in a spot not under the AC. 👍 We ordered drinks and chatted some more, we were given time to order our food and the lady who took our order was lovely and when we finished the order I went upstairs to the toilet. When I returned, probably 4 mins in total we were brought the food ? An alarm bell went off because it was so fast. However, as my dish was placed in front of me the server noticed that it didn’t have any sauce on it and immediately said that she would sort it out and bring me another. In the meantime my friend looked at her carbonara and commented that it too had no creamy sauce. The garlic bread with cheese that had arrived had a small blob, literally, a blob the size of, say, a tic tac box of mozzarella in the middle and we laughed about it. When my dish came back it now had sauce. However we pointed out that the carbonara had no cream. The server was apologetic and took the dish away to rectify. My dish returned to the table, it looked lovely and had a tomato sauce, oh dear, I curled my linguine onto my fork and blew it to cool but as it went into my mouth it was cold. I put my finger into the middle of the dish and it was cold. I’m now over this. I offer to pay for the drinks and not have any food. The server was totally professional and wanted to make it right, she offered to comp the food and re-order the whole thing. We didn’t really want to but she was so sincere in her apology we felt bad. It was probably the worst tasting food we had ever had, we picked at it. The two servers came to speak to us and said that they were sorry and comped the whole meal and drinks. We were grateful for this. We left a tip to both of them recognising their professionalism and care for customers. Italian food definitely takes more than five minutes to get to the table. I wouldn’t eat in this place again or any other one of their restaurants. The food was tasteless. Really disappointed. I didn’t take photos on this occasion because it was very...

Visited here Thursday afternoon during October half term. The place was quite. The ladies toilets were in a dreadful state. Server friendly but very food bland.

Our host seemed grumpy, maybe it was a long day for him!! We requested a table of 5 with a high chair and after looking around, a practically empty resturant, placed us in far corner and told us to use app. We called him back over and requested menus as I find this easier.

Our female server was very friendly. We ordered two pizzas from kids menu, my friend ordered a pasta dish while I ordered two starters, risotto balls and prawns, and a side salad for my mains. We explained to server to bring it all out together. After 20mins we received my two starters and waited another 10 for our drinks. When these arrived we asked for rest of the dishes and server said "oh the order goes to kitchen as starters first". I replied I specifically told you we wanted all dishes together!! No apology just a shrug. My friends' main dish came after my two dishes were eaten & cleared. The risotto balls were bland and served with a cold tomato salsa. The prawns were butterfly cooked and okay. My little side salad that came after was very disappointing. It consisted of cucumber slices, onion & maximum 3 baby tomatoes with wilted lettuce. It had no dressing and was a sad sight. The children enjoyed their pizza, but were asked about desserts half way through which made them stop eating to order them. Desserts of icecream arrived and uneaten pizza left on table!!!

We visited the ladies after our meal and if I done before hand I would not have eaten there. It was in a dreadful state. Out of four toilets only one was usable. One was blocked, one had menstrual blood all over rim and other had pee on rim and no toilet paper. It seemed as there is never any toilet checkups .

I would not visit this restaurant again nor would I recommend. It is not Italian and is an embrassement to...

Mixed feelings about here. Was a busy night as a gig was on, but surely they are used to this? Firstly, waiter had an out of control bottle of prosecco, not his fault I know, but we lost probably half a glass down him and the floor... I was expecting a new bottle, but nope, served us and went off leaving a puddle in the floor He was a nice bloke though and was attentive after this. A different one though, balding, he was just plain rude. Bought the starters over, didn't ask who was having what, just plonked them down and ran off. When bringing mains, didn't ask if we wanted anything else, just plonked down and ran off so we had to almost shout.. can we have pepper! The pasta dish my wife had was just not very pleasant, stodgy is the word we would use Folded garlic bread starter, just seems odd, it's a normal bread but have folded the sides on it, not sure why. My pizza was nice enough, the fizz was nice, but it all could be better.

To order food, you scan a QR code. Great, let's get a drink while we decide what to it. Tried, but apparently our table didn't exist .. tried again, same issue. Ok maybe they just come and take our order... Appears not as 10 minutes on and still no order. Grab a waiter, this was due to them not opening the table or something and once he did this (although didn't come.back to say it had been done) we could order away.

Overall, just left feeling like it could all be better. Toilets are lovely, that's...

I believe in giving honest reviews and wait until after I have finished a meal to not act in haste. Not a nice experience, which put a dampener on the night. We were attending an event at the O2 and a meal is part of that experience. I received an Ask Perk that clearly states that you are entitled to a free Pizza when ordering a main. Manager and person initially insisted that you have to order two mains to get the Pizza free (totally not what’s stated). On principle I stood my ground as why offer something then sneak in new terms. Person serving us was huffy and ignored us and chose to serve the person behind. At one point my partner wanted to leave as you really don’t want to eat somewhere where there is an atmosphere. It’s such a shame as we have eaten at many Ask Italian Branches, hence us getting the offer and not had a bad experience, including at the O2 Branch. It’s such a shame as we’ve had really nice meals here before and the people that served us on those occasions were lovely. The food was actually really nice and the lady who brought our drinks was nice and polite. Shame about the other issues!!
