Standing permanently on the foreshore of the Thames, this sculpture is a 1/8th slice of what was originally the Arco Trent, an ocean-going sand dredger. A fascinating sculpture. It’s basically a slice of an old cargo ship mounted on a plinth. It’s great being able to see all the plumbing and pipe work in a ship as well as the cargo space and ballast.
