This was one of the BEST roast dinners I’ve had in London to date - @bohalondon 😍🫶🏻✨ 🍽️ We opted for the Bóha Feast - which is a roast dinner for 2 people. Lamb, beef & chicken - all so juicy - and with all the trimmings! The gravy that was in the meats was a solid 10/10, I asked the chef for the recipe as it was mouth watering. 😂🤪 🫶🏻 Usually I like sauce with my roast dinners, but I didn’t need it today 😂. The potatoes were crisp and were seasoned very nicely too. We paired ours with a Rioja (delicious) and cauliflower cheese (which was an extra side). ✨ Boha itself is dreamy, think of jungle vibes in Chelsea - we loved it! Very intimate, but also family friendly too which was lovely to see on a Sunday! Mixture of groups, couples and families were having the roast dinners. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll be going back for another roast asap with my family!!! @bohalondon Kings Road, Chelsea 📍 Save, share & add to your lists! Sunday things to do ❤️ a wholesome Sunday is the best feeling in the world! Roast dinners are always a Sunday motive - I loved @bohalondon in Chelsea & also @mamashelterlondon for their delicious beef wellington 🍸 Stroll around a new town or different place to your usual go toos. Richmond or Cambridge are great examples - not too far from London. Eat, drink, walk & see! 🌳 Markets - always a fun idea in London!! We love @camdenmarketldn or @victoriaparkmkt (for a smaller one) - explore the food stalls, shops (Camden) and sights. 🫶🏻 #sundayfunday #sundaybrunch #roastdinner #londonbrunch #londonthingstodo #budgetfriendly

I went for the Sunday roast with two friends and the food was delicious. Initially the staff were welcoming and throughout the meal we had a friendly waiter and friendly waitress who checked in to make sure everything was going well. The food also came out quickly. However, the evening was tarnished a bit after a miscommunication between our waitress and the manager led to the manager being very rude to me and my friends. My friends each ordered a glass of dessert wine for £12, however the waitress mentioned that they had run out of this and that we could have an alternative for the same price. We weren't told which alternative. Once the bill arrived we had been charged £20 for each glass (most expensive on the menu), with a £2 discount on each. We questioned why this was the case, and we were told that the glass could not be discounted further as the manager said so. We challenged this as we wouldn’t have ordered the wine in question if it was going to be £6 more per glass. The waitress was polite and said there had a been a miscommunication on her part and so she went to the manager who then came over and was exceptionally rude. He repeatedly accused us of lying and that the waitress had offered three alternatives (not true), saying that he was standing next to us and heard the whole thing (which he clearly hadn’t). He continued to berate us until he finally went over to the waitress to ask what she’d said. He came back and apologised for his approach, saying the waitress had confirmed our side of events and comped the wine. Although my personal experience was soured by how the manager acted, I enjoyed the food and majority of service enough that I wouldn’t tell someone not to go, since I assume this incident is unlikely to be a regular occurrence. I personally don’t see myself going back any time soon though.

We had high expectations for our meal, especially given that we made our reservation two months in advance, but unfortunately, the evening was filled with several issues that need addressing.

Double Booking and Delay: We had a reservation for 8:30 PM, yet we were not seated until 10:00 PM. This delay was frustrating, especially considering we had booked well in advance. While we were grateful for the two complimentary bottles of Prosecco, 1.5 hours of waiting was excessive and left us with limited time to enjoy our meal. Our transport was pre-booked for 11:00 PM, so we only had one hour to eat a three-course meal.

Inaccurate Menu Information: We were instructed to order from the Christmas menu, and one of the sides listed was Parmesan and truffle fries. However, the fries we received were neither Parmesan nor truffle-flavored, and when we questioned the waiter, we were told they were chicken fries—despite the fact that a member of our group is vegetarian. This lack of disclosure was concerning, and unfortunately, the vegetarian member of our group unknowingly ate the chicken fries before we realised the mistake.

Allergen Information: One of our party members has a severe nut allergy, and when she asked whether either of the desserts contained nuts, we were told that they did. If she had not asked, no one would have informed us of this potential risk. The allergen information was not present on the printed menu, and no one inquired about food allergies when we were seated. This oversight is unacceptable for a restaurant of your caliber, especially when dealing with food allergies.

Poor Food Quality: The quality of the food did not meet our expectations. The pigs in blankets were cold, and we were served only 6 croquettes between 10 people, forcing us to cut them in half to share. The turkey was dry and lacked flavor, which was disappointing given the festive occasion.

Unprofessional Service: When we finally spoke to the manager about our concerns, his response was dismissive and condescending. Rather than offering a genuine apology or taking accountability for the issues we encountered, he seemed more interested in telling us how long he had been in the business. Given his years of experience, we would have expected a much higher standard of service and customer care.

We were hoping for a pleasant, celebratory meal, but instead, the evening was marred by multiple issues that should never have occurred, especially in a well-regarded establishment. I trust you will take this feedback seriously and look into how these matters can be prevented in the future.

Although we received 20% off the final bill, we believe this figure does not compensate for the poor service we were...

Extremely rude and dismissive staff from the beginning of the night, to the end.

Once I arrived, the waiter made it a point to state the 2 hours for our table had started, and pressured us to hurry with our food orders, which was extremely unprofessional and applied unnecessary pressure for some of my friends still arriving. Despite the rushing nature, we could see it was not busy. Come to find that we were all sat at the table for almost 3hours in the end, due to very slow service - negating the pressuring experience we felt throughout.

I had reserved a table in the Shibeen bar downstairs. After waiting 10mins, we sat on an available section as no one had come back to confirm my booking. Later throughout the night, the floor/bar manager made it an effort to regularly cut through our group of friends on the dancefloor, sometimes bumping into us. She then decided to pick up our belongings and ask who they belonged to, as 'this table is reservation only' and she assumed we hadn't booked. After initial pushback, I advised her to check the booking time I had, which clearly showed my reservation. She then apologised and placed our jackets down. This was extremely unnecessary and not a professional way of handling a situation. All she had to do was ask if we had a table booked...

The drinks were ridiculously overpriced, with a round of cocktails (consisting of 3 drinks) costing nearly £85. The bar service was unapologetically slow, and they overcharged one person by failing to inform us that the original, normal version of Wray Nephews had run out, and without telling us, decided to charge for the premium.

The security was unacceptable throughout the night. The guard in the Shibeen was extremely aggressive when we were all taking photos in the popularised 'photo lights' room, which happened to be where the women's toilets were. He would brashly make assumptions as to why we were there, which to a normal person, is pretty obvious as you know it's the main picture taking area like they advertise on their social media.

When smoking outside, we were constantly told to be quiet, and this continued even after the bar had closed whilst trying to book Ubers. Respectfully, you shouldn't run a bar/club on a popular high street if noise is your concern.

Overall, the food was okay, the music was the best part of the night, but I'd fail to return back to BOHA - and would advise anyone going to be prepared for unprofessional service, as well as deceitful pricing tactics to overcharge you.

This place was not worth the overhype you see on...

My wife and I came here for the 1st time yesterday, table booked for outside on a Saturday afternoon. Front of house staff member Octavia showed us to our table which was kind of outside but within the footprint of the restaurant. If you book outside, be prepared for road noise, people walking past etc. Personally we loved sitting in the sun and taking it all in. Initially I thought the cocktail list was quite narrow but it soon became apparent courtesy of staff member Octavia that the ones listed are a small selection and they can make pretty much anything requested so please keep this in mind if cocktails are your thing. So, water poured, drinks ordered, menu perused, the wife went for the black Cod with some Asparagus, I went for the 10 oz Sirloin with chicken salt fries. ( Steak and chips basically)...A Quails egg draped in gold leaf with a microscopic sprig of Parsley costing the price of a small car for a main really isn't my thing. I was asked how I'd like the Steak and would I like a sauce with it, I was sold on the " Irish Curry Sauce". The food turns up in good time, wife's fish, beautifully cooked, draped in Samphire which ( and I quote) " Tastes like everything should taste like in the sea"... stirring up images of quaint harbours, fishermen landing their catch, rock pools, angry skies and salty winds. My Steak, medium rare, cut into perfect strips, was so tender that supply of a Steak knife was optimistic overkill in my opinion. The fries looked triple cooked to me with a slight coating and had a delightful crunch, perfection, but,, for me the star of the show was the Irish curry sauce. Don't ask what was Irish about it, I've no idea but it was on another level, a revelation as this deep golden silk seeped into every crevice of me " Steak and Chips". We shared the Asparagus which again cooked to perfection in a sauce complimented everything. I feel the word " Amazing " is overused these days. I've even had waiters saying " Amazing " after asking me if I've got any allergies ? " No,, only large bills". " Amazing". But in this case the food and the service really are " Amazing". I gave ambience only 4 stars because we simply couldn't spend enough time there to know for a fact. But I'd guess it would be 5. So there you go, top marks all round and if management are reading this, whatever you're paying her, give her more money, Octavia was...
