It is ok, not something that social media raved on about, I'm always for small business but when something is decent doesn't mean I will exaggerate my experience, fresh naan is amazing on its own but when shop bought naan is used in some of the naan, it's diminishing to the business, I have had fresh naan from the tandoor from this place and was happy, the kibbeh was OK lacked flavour, garlic naan is a disappointment, using garlic butter is not garlic naan, the chilli naan using chilli sauce, the falafel was lovely, zaatar naan was an experience worth having, sesame naan has a lovely flavour and cheese naan is asking for a heart attack especially when it's addictive, I try and be fair, good food would be met with good review and something mediocre will be met same, I am to give a fair and unbiased reviews, I want people who read this review be met with honesty so they decide whether that trip is worth making, my advice is, if you are in the area go in, but if you are going out your way to make a special visit then I would suggest you have an itinerary of other venues to try in...
Read moreJust bought quite a few naans expecting them to be amazing 5* like I remembered last year, (used to buy very often in the past before we moved), however the naans were quite stale-like, unlike the fresh puffy ones they used to sell. The Garlic butter they now use is nothing like the Fresh tasting type they used to use. It's now a thin, shop bought type that just about flavours the naan. It used to be a thick butter with crushed garlic cloves mixed that we used to absolutely love. The chilli naan is now literally the stale naan with chicken shop style chilli sauce just squiggled on top. Before it was like a nice chilli paste with the option of cheese melted with it, that was also amazing for spice lovers.
Really disappointed that it's not longer how it used to be. No wonder why the price has dropped and no one buys from there anymore.
Better off with a supermarket bought naan and homemade garlic butter, or shop bought if you're...
Read moreFresh and hot naan bread to take away at very affordable prices. Many flavours to choose from. All naan were cooked in front of you and still hot when wrapped. The cheese naan was good, had a lot of cheese inside and they offered to add some garlic butter. The garlic butter reminded me of American buttered popcorn butter.
The Kurdish naan sandwich was a great value meal at £5.00, however other than the naan the sandwich isn’t that amazing. I liked the pickles but I couldn’t taste the sauces that much and the meat wasn’t super fresh tasting. I liked that they cooked it fresh for you but I think sometimes they do leave it to sit out. They also have falafel sandwiches and potato/mince balls sandwiches.
The service was really...
