Bad Manners — Restaurant in London

We came on Monday after following your social media journey and whilst the food and the vibe of the place was great, what let it down was the service me and my family received. The chef was a happy chappy and very friendly to us, but the server was unfortunately very rude and full of attitude for some reason, not very customer friendly at all.

An example was when a member of my family asked for only 1 taco, he was quick to respond ‘why only one? are you sure?’ In a very demeaning and patronising way. We responded, ‘yes well that’s what she would like if that’s ok?’ At which a not so subtle eye roll was seen by all of us. There was no other communication he gave us, even when we came up to thank the chef.

The food was hands down fabulous and we’re still thinking of those tacos but hugely let down by the service, which we overheard another table comment the same on...

Defo a hidden gem in Shoreditch area. As a specialty coffee lover I am glad that I have tried their batch brew today which full of cocoa, dates with medium to low acidity ( normally I preferred high acidity one). Most of the batch brew will let you feel the over extract but even though I just had that today around 4 pm and no such flavour in the coffee. If you looking for a great and nice coffee when you passed by nearby area, don’t miss it! FYI : the bean today I have is roasted by Plot roastery which is also a great Roastery...

American portions with British flair

The sausage breakfast burritos were delicious. Be forewarned, the burrito was a 10" long thicc boi. (I recommend a refractory period after consuming … or you could split it, but that would be un-American.) The salsa is mild and a bit sweet. And the hashbrowns were the perfect level of crispy.

EDIT: It would have been nice to have a spicier salsa that was a bit more jalapeño forward. And the sausage in casing was kind of hard to bite...
