Bike Shed Moto Co. is an absolute haven for anyone who loves motorcycles, edgy vibes, and damn good food. Nestled in the heart of Shoreditch, this place isn’t just a café—it’s a full-on lifestyle destination that oozes cool from every corner.
The Vibe
From the moment you walk through those industrial doors, you’re hit with the unmistakable energy of the place. Exposed brick walls, vintage leather sofas, and custom bikes on display create an atmosphere that’s gritty yet refined. Whether you’re a biker or just appreciate great design, you’ll feel right at home. It’s got that rare Shoreditch vibe that’s effortlessly cool without trying too hard.
The Food & Drinks
The menu is as solid as the bikes on display. Whether you’re after a full English breakfast to kickstart your day or a burger that hits all the right notes, the food here doesn’t disappoint. I went for the short rib burger, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer—juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor.
The drinks menu is equally impressive, with craft beers, expertly made cocktails, and killer coffee. Their espresso martinis? Next level.
The Bikes
The custom bikes on show are pure art. Even if you’re not a rider, you’ll appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The collection constantly evolves, so there’s always something new to drool over. It’s not just a place to grab a meal—it’s an ode to the motorcycle culture and everything that comes with it.
The Extras
Beyond the food and bikes, there’s a barbershop, a retail space packed with high-quality gear and apparel, and even a tattoo studio. It’s a one-stop shop for anyone looking to embrace the biker lifestyle—or at least look the part.

Read moreWell. Oh dear. Not a good experience at all. I’ve had a bike license since 1992 and been in the motorcycle industry for 30 years with my own establishment for 20 years now. I have usually avoided the Hipster places a I cut my teeth well before the ‘latte racer’ thing, however my son had just turned 17 and wanted to visit this place as his first ride out destination. We travelled a fair way. Before we’d even removed our crash helmets a grumpy grey beard man came stomping over and started ranting and intimidating my son as apparently he came in the alley too fast. When I pointed out he came in directly behind me,so couldn’t possibly have gone too fast , we were invited to see the cctv . I declined. My son has had training by some of the best in the business. The fact my son followed me in, and I clearly saw the dead slow signs, made me quite confused that he confronted my lad and not myself first. The grumpy man Changed his tune When I said we were leaving. Most established businesses in the motorcycle industry, are trying desperately to welcome the next generation of riders and many are doing a decent job of this, despite the challenges the industry faces at present. This establishment seemed to take an instant dislike to a young someone because, well, just because. If visiting London as a biker there are frankly some much more welcoming historical biker places ,and a million places to get overpriced pub food. I certainly won’t recommend this place to any of my clientele or any of the younger riders starting to coming through. No need to reply to this review, don’t really care for the reasons for...
Read moreVisited during the gradual un-locking following the COVD-19 pandemic June 12th 2021. Booked for a play at the Town Hall and needed a bite to eat. I was stunned and very happy to find this place right next door! I ride a Triumph Street Twin so it ticked all my boxes - food and bikes - yay! Arrived at 6pm and was given a table for four (although I was on my own) that was free until 7.30pm - plenty of time for me as play started at 7.30. There’s the outdoor eating space, covered roof (where the bikes ride past you to go to the motorbike parking garage at the rear). The restaurant has sturdy - possibly former school or church chairs and tables. There is a cafe / sofa / merch area in another arch, a third arch space where there were more tables and a few classic / vintage theme motorbikes on display and then the parking garage. There’s an on-site barbershop and (just so you know) the loos are impeccably clean too! Waiting staff all very friendly and helpful, bringing me a paper version when no internet access inside so couldn’t QR code the menu. I had to charge my phone while there and this was okay. I had vegan burger and there was at least another four things a veggie would eat. The burger was like the Moving Mountains range, toasted bun and fresh salad. Accompanied by sweet potato fries that were super crispy and tasted lovely. A wooden box containing Sauce Shop condiments from back in my adopted home city of Nottingham. THE BEST sauces so I’m not surprised to find them here! Definitely on my list of places...
