Me and my 2 friends were looking for a nice spot to get a drink after dinner, I remembered passing by this place so suggested it to them. What a mistake.. our night was tainted after how we were treated.

My friend asked to taste 2 wines, before deciding on her drink - this was immediately met with an off tone. The menu we were given only had alcoholic choices and me and my other friend don't drink - so we asked for the other options which were relayed so quickly to us we hardly had time to think. The worst part was, after my friend and I decided we didn't want a drink the way we were being treated got worse. Even though my other friend ordered a glass of wine, the staff member made us feel so uncomfortable by telling us that another booking was coming at 8PM (it was 7:30PM). By the way, we weren't told when we first arrived, only when my friend and I didn't order a drink. So this meant that my friend who had ordered her wine felt rushed and just totally uncomfortable.. we were then again reminded on 2 occasions that the booking was coming and that it had "arrived early" (at 7:45). My poor friend decided to down her wine quickly to escape the atrocious vibes that almost ruined our night. And yeah, when we left there was NO sight of the '8PM booking' and the staff member gave us the most sarcastic "goodbye" she might as well have said "don't let the door hit you on the way...

A bit of a rip off joint to be fair. Cheese selection is ok although the some of cheeses are not served properly and are not as mature as they should be.

Uncomfortable Chairs and tables unless you are Ellie Simmons or 6 years old.

To make matters worse Corkage is charged as well as a surcharge for cheese which is ok. however, to charge service on top is out of order if not illegal. Furthermore they try to hide the fact by not giving you a receipt and claiming a the printer doesn’t work.

A little more acceptable in St tropez but a pokey cheese shop in Se1 is a bit too much.

Best avoided unless you like...

Bermondsey Corner is just the perfect spot for either a sweet morning with authentic French pastries and aromatic coffee or a cosy and romantic wine and charcuterie supper. They also sell a selection of high quality products and an amazing range of wines. Everything they offer is truly delicious and the staff are very welcoming and warm. If you are not into wine, not to worry, they also have a beer bar area at the end which you can book with your friends. I will definitely be coming back with my...

My friend and I popped in on a sunny evening and were fortunate enough to get a table. We initially went for a glass of wine, but the produce this little place has to offer made it impossible to leave without ordering the cheese board, charcuterie board and amazing bread. Almond and fig bread?! Yes please 🤤 Honestly, look forward to the next visit. The owners are wonderful, and attentive as the place they use for tables fills quickly! Really lovely people.

Had a pleasant evening sharing a couple of cheese boards, crackers, hummus and bread with friends. My gin and tonic was refreshing. We sat in the front of The White Cube Gallery where they put additional seating in the evening. Inside Bermondsey Corner is small yet cosy. They also sell some nice foodie bits to take home with you. A great place to catch up with a friend over a glass of wine, cheese and more. Book a table at the weekend because it gets busy.

I like this deli so much, maybe because I like Bermondsey Street. It’s a nice winery, with deli and options to eat. They do have charcuterie plate, cheese, sardines, and some bakery, so it’a a good spot to stop by and have a glass wine and chill. Service is good, you can sit outside in a nice weather and watch the street. Pricing is reasonable and wine is good. You can buy stuff as well. Highly recommended!
