We were walking past on our way to the Tate Modern and noticed this little flea market so wandered in for a browse. Lots of little boutique stalls selling custom made clothing, vintage ware, jewelry and rugs.
A particular highlight was meeting the amazing octogenarian Gloria, selling some of her vast collection of jewellery and brooches. We spoke for a long time on times past and our affinity for a brooch, she remarked she loved to see men wearing them. I managed to pick up a beautiful little silver brooch with Mother of Pearl for £15, which I think was a steal and vastly underpriced, but Gloria insisted I have it.

It is getting challenging to find really affordable vintage & Vinegar Street is a good choice with a variety of Asian, English & beyond designers & clothes - very friendly & safe - good food options - not too crowded, easy to get to & you can go to Borough Market just down the road. Read moreA nicely curated selection of stalls in a quaint garden setting - great vintage clothes - some excellent curios and unusual finds - loved the fashion and picked up some great gifts on the leather bags stall - lovely atmosphere and great to be able to have a drink and some tasty food from the food hall while browsing - also large seating area and loos both easily accessible - definitely recommend this place especially for families as kids can roam safely and freely.
