Wow! What a great evening 😊 we reserved seats for two and good job too, as, and surprisingly considering it's quite a small place which in itself made the experience all the better, it was by the end of our evening almost full.
The staff welcomed us warmly and we sat at their unique table made from (I think) an oak Tree which had two whiskeys in side soaking up the flavours.
The guys really knew their stuff and we're happy and confident to make recommendations based on your preferred tastes. I like spicy and smoke whiskeys and as such a couple were recommended. I loved the whistle pig and the brimstone best. Whistle Pig was from the light spice cabinet and the Brimstone from the light smoke.
The way in which their whiskeys are presented was also great, and they are happy and trusting for you to have a look through the cabinets (in fact they encourage it) remove bottles, read the labels and smell the contents. We would then return to our table and one of the guys would pop over, taje the bottle, pour a measure and return complete with the bottle and drink.
My wife, who doesn't drink neat whiskey, had high ball cocktails, mixed with some awesome, HOMEMADE ginger ale! I've always drank whiskey neat, as I feel it's taken time to reach a flavour which I feel, shouldn't be contaminated with foreign flavours, but, I have to say, these guys made a believer out of me and having a sip or two from my wife's glass... they were really, really good.
Great evening guys, thank...
Read moreThis was hands down one of my favorite whiskey bars to check out in London! I brought a few friends who are not into whiskey at all, and even they had a great time talking with the employees, trying some unique whiskeys, and sampling some of their cocktails. I tried both the Scotch and American old fashioneds that they age within the giant Oak Table that runs through the middle of the bar, which is super awesome! They have a glass channel on top so you can look into it and see the cocktails resting in the Oak, super unique. The cocktails were excellent, and the way they had organized the whiskeys in the cases based on flavor profile and intensity was amazing! I got a chance to try out some unique whiskeys that I've never tried before, and the staff was more than kind to pick some out for me based on what I liked and don't like! It's so much fun to see how passionate everyone we spoke to here is about whiskey! You could take someone who hates whiskey, bring them here, and I guarantee that they'll leave with a different impression on it! Huge thanks to everyone here and especially Alex for making our visit...

We went to the place you own called Blackrock, one from abroad with the former minister (and my mother) and the other with my precious wife. I paid approximately £400 in the afternoon alone and approximately £700 with my family in the evening. As a licensed whiskey degustation, your staff sold us a glass (50ml) of your own production Japanese whiskey for £175.
In the whiskey we bought 2 glasses of, there was only one whiskey at the bottom that I didn't think was more than 25ml. When I jokingly asked him to share this too, he came with a measuring glass in his hand and said, "Look, there's more,
I can't give it to you." First of all, the fact that he came like this in his hand offended me towards my guests. Later, when I explained the situation to him, he left the bottle on the table. He said, "It's my gift to you." I've never been this embarrassed in my life. I will never go again, and I waste all the money...
