This review is for the owners of Black Sheep Coffee at South Bank Central. I am writing this to express my admiration for the amazing team at South Bank Central. I have been in business for over 30 years in customer service and this is one of the most outstanding teams I have ever seen. Headed by Mylaine who leads by example and the rest of the team including Daniella, Luke. Conrad,Anna,Alba and a few others whose name I don't know their teamwork and customer service is totally outstanding.

This level of customer service is rare as most teams have a few weak links but not this one. They are a joy to be around and to watch such an efficient team who put the job first and always do it with a smile and more. I could not be any more impressed and it is an absolute pleasure to be in such a place with such amazing energy that this team creates.

As owners these employees are worth their weight in gold and the best possible advert for Black Sheep Coffee.I must give you full credit for your staff appointments, well done.I hope you value them and look after them as they all have a very bright future and hopefully that means we get to have them for a good while longer.

Overpriced, underwhelming and unwelcoming.

I’ve wanted to review this coffee joint for a while now but its saving grace, being mostly the location and quiet, relaxed vibe have stopped me. Until now.

I visited last weekend with my best friend for a catch up. The drinks were absurdly overpriced, as is the norm, £4 something (I forget) for a small flat white.

However, when leaving, my friend wanted to use the loo just before setting off on a long journey, only to be told she couldn’t as insurance wouldn’t cover it after closing time.

This is honestly the most absurd, jobsworthy thing I’ve ever heard and only went to show how lazy and out of touch with decency the staff were.

During our visit, I saw an employee, an Asian guy with long(ish) hair sneaking a vape every so often, within the establishment. Hate to break it to you but that’s illegal. And if I were an uber Karen, I’d pass the footage over to authorities. Because if they can break this simple law, what else will they do or indeed, not do?

The food is microwaveable dross.

Won’t be venturing here again.

I advise customers to find better coffee at far...

3 months ago when I started working at the south bank, I was very new to the place. A girl from the Black Sheep came in to my reception and asked me "if I had a blue pen?", and our friendship started right there. I don't drink coffee and immediately they made me a different drink with the dragon fruit, made me feel very special. The staff members Daniella, Mylaine, Luke, Elisa and Conrad always asked me if I would like a drink?, and I always said no, until one day I said yes to a hot chocolate :-) I now have a signature hot chocolate to my name that I invented by adding pistachio to it. Daniella was the first one to make it, and now my colleagues just need to mention my name and the all staff know what to do :-) they are absolutely awesome, friendly and very caring. Keep up the good work y'all! You guys are phenomenal, thank y'all very much for your kindness :-) Nónó xxxxxxxxxx Pop in and say Hey y'all not...

Black Sheep Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! I give it 5 stars without hesitation. The coffee here is truly exceptional, a delightful escape into rich, aromatic bliss with every sip. Their desserts are equally divine, the perfect sweet accompaniment to the outstanding brews. What sets Black Sheep apart is its cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind and chat with friends or dive into work with your laptop. It exudes a laid-back vibe that's hard to find elsewhere. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to extend their opening hours beyond 5 pm. I often find myself craving their coffee later in the evening. Additionally, a loyalty program or more frequent customer discounts would be a cherry on top. Nevertheless, Black Sheep Coffee Shop remains my top choice for a coffee fix and a relaxed hangout. Kudos to the team for consistently delivering excellence!

I'm told it's better on a week day. We used the order yourself computer, which I'm not sure was read. The latte didn't have the caramel, wasn't in a China cup, and I have to assume it had an extra shot but can't tell. Ordered food wasn't available, so we selected replacement. First grilled cheese arrived in 5mins, 2nd in 20 mins ??. It was nice coffee and was nice grilled cheese. I made use of the facilities and laughed outright. It's an eccentric plumbing solution that really doesn't work. Splashes the floor, and I assume you if you're too close. Slippery when wet!
