So frustrated I almost cried 😿😿😿

I decided to try this place out seeing the good reviews. I ordered an Açaí bowl to takeaway, and was asked if I wanted the peanut or almond butter on top. I was confused as the description didn’t mention either, so when I asked if either was included the woman at the till said no, it was extra. The way she phrased it made it sound like it was included and she was simply asking me which one I preferred. I found this slightly cheeky, but no big deal.

Folks: a fair warning. What you see is NOT what you get.

It wasn’t until I got when I realized what a diasaster my açaí “bowl.” It could best be described as a liquified pre-frozen soup, with about 4 blueberries and slices of banana in it. There was less than a teaspoon of granola in it. Honestly I just wanted to cry, as I was so hungry but there was 0 substance in this literal bowl of half liquid/half frozen sludge of açaí paste. One frozen knob of açaí had a very strange spicy/savory test so god knows what that was! But don’t just take my word for it - look at the pictures and decide for yourself if this was a proper açaí bowls and if it matches the picture they have on their own website. I had to add my own granola just to beef it up so I wasn’t slurping a soup. This also can’t be related to the fact that this was takeaway - I’ve had açaí bowls delivered on deliveroo before from other cafes which were perfectly fine. Whether purposely or not, I was scammed. Plain and simple. I got a cup full of frozen açaí paste diluted with water and not much else. If I was in shop I would have asked for a refund. I am sorely disappointed and sad that a hush was would do this to their customers. I will not be back again and would advice you don’t waste your money...

I came to London from Bristol today, and walking from Earls Court to Kensington popped into 3 cafes looking for a bottle of water and maybe a coffee. This lovely cafe, Blend Juice and Coffee, was the only one that TOOK MY CASH! I am just doing some research and observations...It looks to me that owners of bigger cafe places trust plastic and taxman more than their human stuff, lol. So what would u do if the bank frose your assets until further notice or your card is caput for some technical reason? Rely on the kindness of the strangers while you still have pockets full of cash? 😉 Think! We R allowed to have a choice of gender now but not allowed to choose how to pay? In-between centuries proven methods of payment and some unreliable modern technology that can be manipulated by someone/something for your disadvantage? CASH IS KING! 👑 Is cash left for only Kings to enjoy now? 😁 Think, do u want to be even more under magnifying 🔍? Btw, Dubai chocolate is fantastic here in Blend and service is absolutely...

Pros: Cosy tables outside with sun exposure (for some reason there is ZERO places on High Street Kensington with sunny seating in the morning… all in shadow, this is literally only one) Good coffee, great froth (haha I’m all about the perfect balance between coffee and milk, they do it amazing, milk is silky and fits the coffee really well) Service is nice and fast

To consider when ordering: Food is ok, but… somehow it was a bit awkward to receive the Avo toast with one normal size bread and one tiny bread 😂 Quality is ok, I got bagel and I was happy with it. My partner complained a bit about this avo egg toast because egg was only on one toast 😂 and if one orders toast with egg somehow he expected to have the egg on both 😂

None of those are serious issues, I think if you ask when you order on the number of toasts and then ask to match number of eggs to the toasts, then it will be perfect 😁😁😁

Definitely recommend for brunch and enjoying...

Absolutely awful experience from end-2-end and I think one of the worst in London. I visited recently shop near 2 pm with my partner and we have grabbed tea, pain au chocolat and toasted bam with ham and cheese. Tea was just a bag with hot water (over £3 for the tea bag?!). Pain au chocolat felt like was laying displayed 2 days and it wasn't tasty at all. The worst part was my "toasty" bam. I was waiting for it 5-6 minutes and when I've got it it was just warm outside and cold inside. I asked stuff to reheat for me. After another 5-6 minutes I've got my re-heated bam and... well... once again just warm outside and cold inside. Cheese wasn't melted, ham was cold and the whole bam got almost no additional sauce (just a bit of mustard) so was awfully dry. After all when I asked if I can use a toilet stuff said "sorry, it's out of order". Everything what was possible it went wrong with this place. (I needed to double check if this place has really 4.9 on Google Maps!)
