You’re spoilt for choice in London for food places but this cafe was recommended by quite a lot of people so I had to give it a try! The decor is nice and homely and the staff are very welcoming. The chap who served us was very helpful and polite. The eggs Benedict were very nice and I have no complaints. The highlight for me was the royal Victoria pie which was cooked to perfection. Chicken and mushroom pie accompanied by gravy sauce and sweet potato fries, it was something like I’ve never tasted before. Would definitely recommend to all however the only thing I would say is the place is on the small side so expect to be waiting for a table during busy hours!

DEC 2024 UPDATE: Revisited a few times, but this time round with a new menu. Genuinely an upgrade again...the Cox Bazar pie is delicious! The samosas use the same filling and has a tang to it. This suddenly become my favourite place to go to. Was excited this placed opend up, but even more surprising wad the quality of the service and food. Usually don't give full marks, but the service was excellent, staff were very nice to my daughter and food was definitely the best in this area. Very relaxing atmosphere. Finally, the karak chai was one to shout about. Returning customer and now loyal.

I ordered a shakshuka which was so so chilly you could hardly eat it. I literally left it. I asked staff at the counter can you ask the chef to eat this because he put so much spice so much spice it was just burning my mouth. The sourdough bread was hard as wood. My friend ordered a full English the sausage was such bad quality. You could taste the fat in your mouth. I would advise them to change their chef. Will not be coming back here again ever. Another thing to the owner, your prices are very expensive. This is not the Beverly Hills. It’s forest gate..

Visited this local cafe today and we were pleasantly surprised at the comfy decor and halal menu. We ordered the American breakfast which was visually pleasing and tasted great. No cheap sausages or rashers! The pancakes were cute but not light or fluffy as hoped. Crispy sourdough bread too. In addition, We ordered french toast to share although would’ve preferred it to have been an option instead of the pancakes; like offered in other similar establishments in East/North London. On our way out, Management welcomed our feedback and we were happy to inform them that the food was delicious and on par with other venues we visit regularly like Grounded and Dobar. Just slight tweaks with the Breakfast items; with options of pancakes or French toast being given as not everyone enjoys pancakes. Will definitely revisit soon with family...

Went with a friend to sit and catch up.

We were greeted by friendly staff who were very accommodating and welcoming. It was a very relaxed, calm atmosphere inside and the decor was really pleasant.

The menu had a range of items available including all day breakfast, brunch and dinner as well as hot/cold drinks.

The place was like a mix of a cafe and diner.

We ended up ordering pies with chips and gravy (supplied by pie republic who co own the space) and a couple of drinks.

There were other people in the cafe who were sitting around with just pastries and hot drinks.

We stayed there for a couple of hours and didn’t feel any pressure to leave or vacate.

Great spot to sit and eat with friends. Spaces for small and large groups. Cushioned comfy chairs and sofas in a well lit and...

Lovely experience at Bloom Cafe. The waiter was excellent in directing us and taking our orders. The ordering process and time to get our food was as swift as can be.

I ordered the fish and chips meal that's served with sweet potato chips and a side of mushy peas and tarter sauce. The condiments complimented the dish so well I wished I'd had a second pot of each.

The atmosphere within the cafe is quaint, good ambient lighting all around and there is a fair number of seats inside fit for all types of parties, small or large.

Downstairs holds the Cookies and Creams Express which sells a large variety of desserts from boba, milkshakes to waffles and crepes.

All in all a very...
