Service was good but not great. Food is limited as how can you send out popadoms without mango chutney or onion salad etc... the main meal wasn't good as everything apart from a mild dish even the rice had been tossed with green chilli's... hello!! If we want to have a hot curry we will ask for one. Take NOTE: What the customer is asking for don't just assume someone who has a korma would like green chilli's in their vegetable rice. When asked for water don't bring out warm water from the tap, it's disgusting service. This restaurant needs to pull its' finger out and up your game. The seats were dirty and sticky. The restaurant is dark and dismal. Nothing appealing to invite customers round again. Waitresses are keen to take away your drinks when they aren't finished. They even started cleaning the table when other members were still eating. Train the waiting staff to ask before you place your hands on people's plates and glasses and takeaway their half eaten food. We are paying for all that's on the table so PLEASE wait for the customers to finish. I noticed this on 2 other tables where the waitress just took away the drinks that were NOT finished and plates when a member of the group is a slow eater. Plus where on your menu does it state service charge is applicable??? This is automatically added then you go and ask for a tip?? Bloody joke this place is. If you really want to throw away your money this is the best place otherwise you're better off getting a meal deal from any supermarket. At least you will know what your eating and it will taste much better than what you get here. I eat out alot with my job and lifestyle etc, but this is one I will avoid like the plague. If you want to be really disappointed come and try it for yourselves!!

I've added the bill to contribute to my finding! I can also add pics of the so NO waitresses that you say you didn't have serving on the day plus the pics of the popadom condiments that was left at the table, please advise if you would like me to upload them and for you stating you do not serve veg rice please could you explain what that is...

I booked Blue Junction for my father’s 70th birthday, expecting a smooth and enjoyable event. Initially, they provided a set menu with prices and an unlimited drinks option (with a supplement), which we happily agreed to. We confirmed our selections and headcount in advance.

A few days later, I received a call from Kelvin asking how many portions we’d need. Confused, I reminded him that it was a set menu, so obviously enough for everyone.

FOUR days before the event, they informed me that it would no longer be the set price per person. Instead, they planned to charge for the food as individual orders and reduced the unlimited drinks option to only include Coke and Diet Coke. The total cost suddenly jumped by over £200 ("not including service charge")! What nonsense, why not just tell let us order our own choices on the day then?!

I decided to cancel as this bait-and-switch behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. It caused unnecessary stress and disappointment.

We also agreed on an open bar for the day, but judging by this experience, I can only imagine how poorly that might have been handled.

Avoid this place if you want a reliable and...

To all my fellow travellers travelling to London: When we travel abroad the first thing that excites mind of a foodie is great cuisine. Blue junction, just a stone's throw from Morden train station did a great job of igniting our taste buds. We love travelling, exploring food joints, restaurants and bars. What makes a place great is an expert Chef, fast working and smiling waiting staff, a passionate bartender and a Socialite Manager. At Blue Junction, the food was authentic with just the right flavours of spices. The cocktails at Blue Junction didn't disappoint us at all. The price just doesn't justify the quantity and quality. We were extremely happy with the service, portions, quality and above all the hospitality that we received from David, the Restaurant Manager was mind blowing. We saw that every guest knew him and was greeted like family. That is what makes a place successful. The owners seem to not make any compromise with the quality be it food, drinks or their staff. Now this is the place you "MUST" visit...

Update: the owner is now saying this was not about the pushchair. This is not what they said to us yesdsrday. They said we can't enter with a pushchair. They said it twice - to my husband and me separately as I asked them to repeat it because I could not believe it. Also, it was not at 6.40pm. We picked our daughter from the nearby busy bee at 6pm and came straight to the restaurant. The place looked really empty. You are not making your restaurant look better by implying the customer lied in their review. However, I can see that some other clients who left low stars also got a rude reply, so I am not totally surprised. Original review: We've been refused an entry because our 2-years old was in a pushchair. The room was almost empty, with just a few tables being occupied. A bit shocking as it never happened to us before. The place doesn't even look small in comparison with the tiniest caffes in central London we've been to. If they can't fit a pushchair how are they dealing with a person in a wheelchair!?

Blue Junction serves up pretty solid Indo-Chinese fare. We went there for some spicy food to go with cold beer, and BJ didn't disappoint one bit. The Hakka chilli paneer was sharp, and on point. The masala peanuts, with the simple-but-inventive potato crisps topping, was proper spicy, even for a spice-head like me. We then moved on to Indian style scrambled eggs ('bhurji') with naan, which was pretty good too. As a reasonably priced watering hole with some great food and doubling up as a decent family restaurant with good service, BJ ticks a hell of a lot of boxes. I'll be revisiting this place for sure. I'm withholding one star, but will visit again and order egg masala. If they get that right, I'll edit the review to give them a clean fiver.
