Belissimo, Great little Italian restaurant in west London we went for a few starters bruchetta fresh and crisp, and calamari light and airy. They did give some complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic however this was the only part where they could have done better, could have used a better bead was a little stale in taste.
The mains again went for the smaller portion which was enough for 2 people that way could try more too but they were still generous portions, mushroom risotto with hint of truffle divine, next up was lobster bisque ravaoli, financially every morsel in the plate, and finally had the seafood linguine which was alright it needed something more, though mixing it in with the lobster bisque helped.
We wanted dessert but we were already full. The waiters were pleasant and engaging, and made the atmosphere welcoming the place is very cosy and decorated well, would...
Read moreWe were disappointed with our Bocconi order from Ubereats. Such a shame as we loved this restaurant and was really looking forward to having a meal at home. You are charged the same (or similar) prices as you be if you sat in the restaurant and the quality and quantity that turned up was disappointing. The salad needed to be thrown away and the cheese selection that they sent was very small. The prawns were tasty but again we were sent 3 and charged I believe 9 pounds. The nicest and freshest thing that arrived was the burrata which was lovely.
UPDATE:i did reach out to the restaurant and the owner was very professional and apologised profusely to us. A full refund was also offered which was appreciated. They also let us know they are new to Ubereats so hopefully the delivery service will improve after hearing...

Almost everything is made in-house, and it shows. Standouts were the lobster ravioli and the daily pasta special with mussels, and the chicken saltimbocca. We also had some rather lovely, nicely priced bottles of wine and splurged on dessert, which was worth it. The cheesecake was light and lemony and the sorbet outstanding. The staff is incredibly attentive - hallelujah, finally water when you need it! - and clearly is passionate and proud of their food, as they should be. You can also order starters and pasta dishes in small or large sizes, which gives the menu some good flexibility for trying different things. We will...
