The staff are rude. I spent nearly £10 here. I had a loyalty card they wouldn’t count my ginger shot which is the same as a cup of coffee yet the Indian bloke that was serving wouldn’t stamp my card. Talk about very petty and unkind. Bad customer experience especially as they previously stamp my card for exactly the same things ie smoothie bowl & the ginger shot. See below is the ginger shot not considered a drink? - looks like one to me and costs the same as a coffee?! EVEN their loyalty card states after 6 drinks you get one free
. I consider the shot a drink so I don’t know why they can’t see it’s a liquid - a drink. I deserve a stamp, I spent more than a regular coffee: the guy was just nasty. They only reward fizzy drink drinkers or coffee drinkers and not everyone can drink coffee it can cause esophagus cancer if you drink too much - look it up people! Not many people know this. Take care. Btw: In response: I do not ever intend to go back to your shop! You have lost £2500+ year worth of business based on if I had continued to go every day and spend£10+ each time. All for being petty and nasty to your customers. I will also tell colleagues, family and friends to not bother popping in. There is no need to threaten to ban me as I wouldn’t go in your place even if you offered me 50 loyalty cards! & btw not being able to work out which continent someone is from doesn’t give them the label of a racist.

Kave has been a true gem for us since we discovered it after the pandemic. It has quickly become our favorite coffee spot in London, and for good reason. Their coconut flat white is absolutely outstanding – creamy, aromatic, and just the right hint of coconut to elevate the coffee without overpowering it. It’s unlike anything else we’ve tried! Pair that with their blueberry croissant, which is perfection in every bite – flaky, buttery pastry filled with a deliciously sweet and tangy blueberry center. Together, these make for an unbeatable treat. The atmosphere at Kave is warm and inviting, with a laid-back charm that makes it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the experience and making every visit feel special. If you’re in London and looking for a unique coffee experience, I can’t recommend Kave enough. It’s become our go-to spot, and I’m sure it’ll win you over too!

Great quiet spot amid a busy intersection. I didn't realise at first, but it's so nice and quiet inside even if a lot of cars are hurtling outside. The sound isolation is amazing đŸ€© I had a great hot chocolate with coconut milk and a delicious blueberry croissant. Really tasty and flavourful. The menu has several delicious sounding vegetarian dishes which I can't wait to try the next time I visit. The place itself is quite small but somehow spacious. They've managed to fit 10 tables inside, each with at least 2 chairs. A bigger sitting area in a corner with 4 futons and a long bar like table by one of the windows. All wrapped up with cute plants in every nook and cranny, and tasteful lighting. Excellent place to have a vegetarian/ vegan snack, a tasty drink or just a hot drink and a cake. Well done folks, keep up the excellent work!

AWFUL

I want to share my troubling experience at this café, which left me feeling more than disappointed. In my first visit, I ordered two coffees and two pastries to take away. The waiter who served us seemed completely disengaged and, honestly, it felt personal. He handed me my latte in an espresso cup, which was confusing enough. To top it off, he sold the last two pastries (our pastries) to a customer who had ordered after us, all while casting a knowing glance in our direction. It felt deliberate, as if he wanted us to see this play out. Anyways, I asked for another pastry in replacement and left without complaining but feeling awful.

Fast forward a year, and I thought I’d give the cafĂ© another shot, believing that anyone can have a bad day. Unfortunately, the same waiter was on duty. We ordered two vanilla lattes to enjoy in the cafĂ©, only to be served without vanilla and in takeaway cups again. When I pointed this out to the lady barista, his colleague, he responded, he heard it was Vainilla Lattes but didn’t pass the information to her? with an indifferent shrug and said he remembered us from our last visit. It struck me as bizarre that, instead of recognizing our loyalty as locals, he seemed intent on repeating the same disrespectful treatment.

When I asked why we were being treated this way, he claimed that some customers had been stealing their cutlery, implying that we were somehow responsible. It felt like a ridiculous scapegoat, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that his actions were intentionally hurtful. His demeanor was aggressive and condescending, and I could sense that other customers and even his colleague were witnessing this bizarre interaction in shock.

When I confronted him about the unprofessional behavior, he revealed he was the owner's brother and suggested I could “complaint if I wanted to”. At that point, I was so appalled that I didn’t even want to touch the food or drinks. I left everything on the counter and walked out, feeling utterly dejected. I even tried to explain that to him but after a few minutes and seeing the kind of person in this establishment, I decided it was not worth it.

I was thinking to not complaint again, but if I can avoid this experience to someone else, I urge you to think twice before coming to this cafe. It’s unsettling to encounter someone in a front facing role who seems to have such personal issues with clients that he doesn’t know. Clearly, this place is better suited for those who enjoy a side of discrimination with...

First time coming here and it was an utter disaster. It was a normal Sunday stroll for me and my partner. We stopped for 2 takeaway coffees for the go, all looked good. 15/20 minutes went by and no coffees or pastries. Not even sorry for being so slow or anything. I start to look over the counter to see if anyone had recognized that I was being blanked completely and the guy at the counter shouted and me saying your coffees are coming! (Halfway through serving a lady too) Without me even saying a word
All the people at the bar were staring at us. I ordered 3 pastries, and they rush over and give me 2. Knowing that one was missing. I then stand up and go towards the little kitchen door, even before I speak the guy just hands me over another pastry that I didn’t even order and says take that 😂. (Like he knew it was messing he was just trying his luck to see if I’d forgotten) What kind of service is that? 20 min for 2 coffees. And then again blames me aggressively for ordering them? What am I supposed to do? The rude guy and the other 2 girls just completely ignored me. What a mess. Looks good from the outside, another story...
