I’m sharing this review on behalf of my wife and her two sisters. The review is written by them and I’m posting it here for them: “The three of us managed to organise an evening off with kids being looked after. We hadn’t been out together without kids in a while (one of us lives in Paris) and were looking for somewhere chill to eat, chat and play board games. None of us had been to Boys n Berry before but it looked like a nice local and expected it to be the usual indie cafe. But what a treat it turned out to be! Way beyond our expectations! We were welcomed and treated with such warmth and generosity by Oyo and Bessie (please forgive us if we’ve made a mistake with the spelling!). We had really really good coffee (and one of their specialty juices) and the most delicious meals. We ordered a selection of omelettes, sides and vegetarian dishes and shared our food. It was all made with so much love and care and presented beautifully. This was followed by tea and a selection of their scrumptious cakes/desserts (we especially recommend their orange/chocolate cake, the banana bread cake and the luxurious cheesecake). We had all that as we played board games and chatted. The whole evening went so much beyond what we were hoping for - we had an amazing time and absolutely loved the food, drinks and the warmth of the wonderful people running this place. As we were leaving, we ran into a lovely elderly lady who was just coming in. She told us she used to live locally and frequented this cafe daily, but that she had moved out of the area, but was still a frequent visitor to Boys n Berry as she could find nothing like it in the areas near her new home! This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an incredible atmosphere and an overwhelming sense of positive vibes. The staff here are beyond amazing, radiating coolness and making you feel right at home. Special shout-out to Mo, the manager, who is an absolute legend in every sense of the word!

Walked in with family of 3 - only 2 seaters upon entrance to the right - was asked how many people and I indicated 3 with my hand and proceeded to walk down as I had been there on 2 other occasions prior and knew where we could sit for 3! The music was very loud above our table and I went to the manager and asked if he could please turn it down. He told me that I was rude in that he wanted to seat me and my family! I said why is this a problem and he said that is the way it works here! I said that I have been here on 2 other occasions and not asked where to be seated! I asked him why this was a problem and he blamed me for escalating it!! I told him that I was not happy that this small thing made 'him unhappy and confrontational' therefore we decided to leave. While leaving with my family he told me to go and don't come back!! I'm speechless! He needs to be taught manners!
