I was given a voucher for the Beer Masterclass, which came with a free burger and chips.

The Masterclass was amazing, eight beers of varying styles in pristine condition served by a real expert in the art of beer brewing; he had a very infectious and entertaining manner and kept us all involved, intrigued and laughing throughout the experience. He had a wide-ranging knowledge of different breweries around the world and more than a few stories to tell, and it was so refreshing to leave the masterclass feeling that we'd genuinely learned something.

The pulled pork burger and chips were very tasty and went down extremely well after the beer tasting. We didn't have a chance to hang around but could see the bar had a huge selection of taps, cans and bottles including some brewed on the premises. The location is on Angel high street and within easy access of public transport, in a nice area. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night but the staff managed it...

I hovered between3 and 4 stars, but it got 3. Reason?? places like this should be nailing the food. Unfortunately, what I had was a pretty laz effort. The venue is a north American style bar/brewhouse. Location is excellent, right on the junction at Angel, although if you didn't know it was here, you'd walk right past. Good, friendly vibe inside. Lots of different beers to sample, and the menu LOOKS interesting. Unfortunately the execution leaves something to be desired. Crab cakes were just little deep fried discs, falafels ditto, chipotle mayo just tasted muddy. Baby ribs were totally average. In general, the kitchen has the feel of straight from the freezer to the fryer, or grill plate, with nothing being prepared on prem. Its not the end of the world, and you can happily sit here and enjoy the beers, but the bar is getting higher for food and this place is firmly in the...

Booked online prior to the date. We were going for a birthday meal. Booked for 9:30pm. Website did not state anything about kitchen closing times. Said that place is open until 12am. Arrived a little late. Was told that they been trying to call to take our order earlier over the phone as the kitchen was closing at 9:30pm. We were not told this. The woman at the reception was very rude about it and did not even apologise and said that it’s definitely written on the website, but we checked before booking it to ensure that it’s late opening. Bad night and bad experience. No calls received and when we were walking back from another restaurant there were serval people with food on the tables at an even later time. Rather just go to the many different restaurants that are nearby...

Popped into the Brewhouse after going to a market around the corner, initially thought the place was really cool got to the bar and the guy serving us was very nice he informed me that the beer I wanted wasn't on so I ordered something else. We sat down and had a look at the menu then I went back to the bar to order food at which point he informed me that there was a 30-45 minute wait, I went back to my table to ask if that was ok which it was then went back to the bar. On arrival to the bar I was then told that there was hardly any food items on the menu left as it was busy the day before and they didn't have anything that we wanted. Would go again but just for drinks.

Look, I rather just say that this wasn't my favourite Brewhouse and Kitchen experience. It was noisy and a bit loud. The food was good as always, the service was ok, prices alright for a London place competing with a spoons. Overall, I wouldn't come back except to get some of the excellent microbrewed beers they have (kegs, not big bottles like in Nottingham) but still half a decent experience, I'm guessing, if you go over there and it's not terribly crowded. Picture attached is of my favourite bottled beer for tonight. A good Peanut Butter stout.

Love this pub. Can get a little busy with post work people, but as long as you can get a table (and you can reserve them), this all adds to the ambiance. Drinks selection, particularly the beers and ales are amazing and the food is INCREDIBLE. Excellent gastro pub food. Everyr ing we've ever had has been super tasty and the vegan beetroot and pesto risotto I had last night was out of this world (considering I'm not vegan, it just sounded so tasty I couldn't resist It! Not too expensive and we'll worth a visit.
