So disappointed. Ordered a Sunday roast which we waited 25 minutes for and turned to be bland… but that was not the main issue. The process do order it from the QR code on the table was too complex. I ordered an Elderflower spritz which was ON THE ONLINE MENU… but when ordered was told that it was not available as it’s only “available during summer” despite it being ON THE MENU… super confused as to why an item would be on the menu if not available. I was told that cocktails were not available… my friend who ordered on the same table was able to order an Aperol Spritz which was on the SAME SECTION of the menu… When I questioned the worker he stated that the cocktails were only available for the “down stairs private events” and “summer menu”. But I wonder WHY it would still be available on the online menu. If two things are on the menu one after the other how is one available whilst the other isn’t? The way I was spoken to by the staff member came across as though it was common knowledge. He stated “we don’t have any cocktails available only at the bar downstairs” but why would it be on the menu for the same venue. A refund was eventually made after waiting a long time for this to be sorted out. No sincere apology was given and I was spoken to in a manner which made me feel belittled. Very disappointing, needless to say...

The interior is very cosy, combining leather furniture with heavy wood and so the place has this unique authentic London vibe.
I came for a pint of beer, asked the guy behind the bar for a beer recommendations, sat down and just watched life go by on the street. Then some Irish gentleman joined in and recommended a draft Guinness as "the best beer in the world", so I obviously had to try that too. Later, the bell rang and the shortly afterwards, the pub closed and kicked us out. And it was very expensive.
Awesome British experience,...
Read moreOnly one “server” working who was really the bartender. Didn’t acknowledge us for 5 mins while we waited to be seated. Ordered a bottle of red wine to drink with our beef roast which didn’t arrive until we were almost done our meals because they couldn’t find a wine opener. What pub doesn’t have a wine opener is beyond me. We cancelled the bottle and just got glasses towards the end of our meal. The chef had to ring the bell 3 times to signal that our food was ready before the server brought it to our table. The place was empty and the roast was bland. Would...
