Unfortunately I had booked a table for my best friends birthday weekend. Admittedly I had booked for the wrong day but there was only 2 of us so the restaursnt was able to accommodate us and gave us a time limit which was fair enough. I asked the waiter for advice on menu specifying that I was vegetarian. He recommended a chaat and when it came it had a slab of chicken in the middle which I managed to eat. I alerted him straightaway and he did change it for us giving a lame excuse to say that he was away when the recipe changed. We were not charged for the chaat. Surely the name would also change if the recipe changed right? When staff started arriving for their shift it was like they didn't realise that their voices travelled and we had to put up with listening to all the details and banter that frankly was slightly annoying. We then ordered main courses and the dal was so watery it was impossible to eat (it is earmarked as creamy on menu) and the curry was also overspiced and really salty my friend said. It was all such a let down and it was embarrassing for me as I had taken my bestie for her birthday and I really didn't want to keep complaining. And then the slap on the face was when the bill with service charge came to 60 pounds. What a joke. Not only do I defo not recommend, I would ask you to check the prices before you order in restaursnt as different portion sizes are marked as different prices including the dal. Its ludicrous. And i had asked for help asi have a eye condition so cannot read small print. There was a party coming in after us and the gentleman came by to ask if he could leave a cake and was callously told no they do not store cakes. It was so awful it made me wince. That's not service. Service is to really try to accommodate your guests and be with them in their celebrations and understand their needs. It's really disheartening at at the end the waitress came to to take a payment and she asked how the food was and my friend said it was OK out of embarrassment we both looked at each other. The waitress scarcastically said ' so glad you enjoyed it hope to see you again soon" it made us laugh and she clearly knew there was a issue by our reaction. If i could give it zero stars I would. It really was as painful as it...

This is a great place to go for authentic Indian food. We went as a family, and tried both veg and non-veg. All dishes were very tasty and well cooked. The portions, much to our surprise (after reading the menu which talked about "mini" bowls of veggies, dal etc.) were very generous. We ordered some chaats as starters but the thaalis also come with grilled starters, so we ended up overeating! We thought we would try their mega thaali meant for six people, but apparently you have to specifically order it while booking the table. We didn't know this. But their regular thaalis are shared thaalis for two people - and believe me, we struggled to finish the entire food! The decor is rather ordinary - they could improve it by paying some attention to simple Indian decor - like historical figures/paintings etc. very good. The staff are very friendly. Ms Meshwa and Mr Franco stood out for their willingness to put up with our various requests and change of plans! The do pitchers of excellent mango lassi, don't miss them! But as for beer, any number of fancy brands are on display on a cabinet - but not available for consumption! They do have some nice Indian brands of beer, which we tried. Dishes are prices for Hammersmith residents, so beware!!

Had a terrible experience at this place. It has the most appalling and shocking customer service.I booked a place for 4 on Open table for Saturday night . While making the reservation I was not informed that the table was for 1.5 hours. We reached on time but our starters took forever to come. While we were in the middle of eating our starters we were told that we had 15 mins to leave. Understand the usual 2 hour policy for a table but was angry that we were not informed of the 1.5 hours either during reservation or just before taking the table. The person dealing with us rudely stated that we did not check the reservation confirmation which would have clearly stated this. I showed him the email which only mentioned the 1.5 hours in fine print under the heading special occasions. This guy then agrees to his mistake and tells me that he would be calling open table to rectify this error . He did offer us half hr more but food took shockingly long to come (about 20 mins ) and they did not bring half our order. Again this man comes literally 5 mins after our mains arrived to tell us that we had to leave. We ended not eating our mains and cancelling the items that did not arrive. Needless to say that we will never be visiting again and would not recommend this...

Utterly disappointing experience — would not recommend. We had a very poor experience at this restaurant. Despite the place being nearly empty (only one other table was occupied), we had to wait 10 minutes just to be seated. The service throughout was extremely slow and unprofessional. It took 30 minutes just to get a glass of water after we asked, and our food arrived over 45 minutes after placing the order. We ordered the Dhaba Chicken Curry and Brinjal Masala. The chicken curry was decent, but the brinjal dish was very underwhelming — it mostly consisted of potatoes, with barely any brinjal flavor. Even worse, the dish felt like it had been microwaved unevenly, as parts of it were hot while others were cold. To top it all off, they added a 12.5% service charge to the bill. When I requested to opt out due to the poor service, the waitress insisted it was mandatory — which I found completely unacceptable, especially for a table of two with such subpar service. Overall, the restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food, service, and ambience. I will definitely not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to others.

With so many Indian restaurants in London it's always very hard to find the one that really stays with you and his memorable lucky for us Patri is that place! The place is cozy and the decor is stylish, however the star of the show is the food and more importantly the flavours! We loved how beautifully cooked and flavorful the food was. Everything tasted fresh and felt like you're eating at someone's home. The murgha chicken is a must have,it was cooked to perfection with a sauce that surrounds your mouth with pure enjoyment! We were lucky to have a lamb biryani prepared just for us, it truly was a special treat and we'll worth waiting for, I must say it was one of the biryanis I've ever had not just in London but probably the world 👌 🙏 Don't forgot to try the Kulfi after your meal! Super refreshing! It was a pleasure eating there and our guide Manjeet was an amazing help! Can't wait to come back! -10/10-
