I went to the Chelsea flower show with my two daughters on Wednesday 21 May this week. I bought from the Sloane Square station branch 3 flat whites with oat milk and 3 buns which were on offer for £10 for 3. I tapped my card and immediately realised I had been overcharged by £10. Total bill was over £30 and it should have been £20. The male assistant said he thought we had ordered 6 buns rather 3 buns!. He then took my card and said he had refunded me £10. I have checked my bank statement several times and to date I have not received the refund but over £30 has disappeared from my bank account!! Very disappointing and frustrating not being able to speak to the male assistant in the shop to find out why this has not taken place and when this error on the shop’s part is going to be resolved. There is no telephone number on the website. It would be good to hear from customer services. I will contact the local council in Chelsea if this is not resolved as I have a horrible feeling this is happening all the...
Read moreBuns From Home at Sloane Square is a delightful spot for pastry lovers, offering a selection of freshly baked, handcrafted buns that are as indulgent as they are beautifully made. The flavors are rich and well-balanced, with the perfect combination of crisp, flaky exteriors and soft, buttery layers inside.
The cinnamon roll, in particular, stands out—warm, aromatic, and generously coated in just the right amount of sweetness. For those looking for a plant-based option, the vegan cinnamon roll is just as satisfying, with a deliciously caramelized crust and a melt-in-the-mouth texture.
Service is friendly, and the team behind the counter seems genuinely passionate about their craft. However, timing is key—arriving earlier in the day ensures you get the freshest selection, as some buns can lose their magic if left sitting too long.
Overall, Buns From Home is a lovely addition to the area, perfect for a quick treat or a takeaway indulgence. A must-visit for anyone with a...
Read moreWent today around 7pm as I wanted to grab a treat before my tube ride. I was waiting behind a lady who I thought was waiting for an order to be completed. But when she walked away empty handed, I realised that she decided to leave because she had been waiting for the staff member to get off his phone and actually do something? It was very rude, there were a few of us who were stood there and he was facing our direction, so he was blatantly ignoring patient customers while being on his phone. Please can you make sure your staff actually provide service. I decided to just leave too as I couldn't imagine what kind of rudeness I would have to put up with if I decided to ask him if he was working, given that I and the other lady had stood outside for enough time for him to notice...
