Honestly not sure what the fuss is about. Definitely not pushing towards gourmet which is what I was led to believe and the background behind this place? Maybe that's my mistake. I got the classic burger, regular skin on fries and 4 wings bathed in a cheap garlic sauce which is essentially a jazzed up packet sauce from the consistency alone with the addition of dry herbs. The burger patty was full of hard gristle and overall really poor quality meat and they seemingly try to mask this with a litre of burger sauce (the burger overall is quite sloppy which I don't mind but it has to be balanced). It goes down okay but I expected better quality so just disappointed really. The fries were decent, much better than your regular boss man place but they were so short lol. As for the wings, far too heavy on the batter and just mediocre flavour. They weren't tasty, just filling. To be clear there's nothing unpleasant about this place, it's just markedly average. I wouldn't recommend someone going out of their way to come here but if you're in the local vicinity and it's late I can see the buttered buns and generous portion of fries as a popular choice, especially after a few beers. Not sure I'd ever return here unless there's a big improvement.

Coming from the U.S., I was curious about how a burger in London would taste. The answer is very different. I was blown away. The hours are short but convenient for me being open til Midnight. The lads that work there are fun and friendly. I'm not sure what exactly a smash burger is but I can tell you they are smashing. I've been there just about every night since I've tried it. I've had several different menu items. The Pj, the Brick Lane and the Blimey are all delicious. Melted cheese, brioche bun, onion infused patties, specific sauce to the burger choice and the very slightly medium rare temperature wrap everything together into a tidy tasty sandwich. Plain chips are hot and crispy. Very good. The Potato mess is amazing with the mince meat and cheese. I added the spicy scotch sauce they use on the Blimey to spice it up a bit. If you are in Tower Hill/Aldgate area, stop in and see these chaps. The food here is absolutely brilliant!

WOW the food here is amazing! 👌🏽 My Order: 🍔 Classic Burger LDN 🍔 Smokey Classic Burger 🍔 Classic Burger Ldn – made with two smashed patties, melted cheese, gherkins, new burger sauce by Nawals and caramelised onions. The burger was huge, the buns are freshly baked from Rinkoffs bakery, you can tell the difference in quality. The patties are also freshly made and were very flavoursome and juicy, with the burger sauce and the caramelised onion just elevating the burger to another level. 👍🏽 🍔 Smokey Classic Burger - similar to the Classic Burger but with added BBQ sauce and turkey rashers. If you like BBQ flavour then you will defo love this, the turkey rashers gives it lovely a crunch, it’s the perfect match, once again very flavoursome, just lovely! 👍🏽 loved the burgers, loved the fries, I really like the fact they try to source freshly made buns, makes a big difference to the taste. 👍🏽

07/07/2025 UPDATE: Your loyalty scheme is not good at all. I could go Nandos and buy multiple meals and get multiple stamps.

If I come to you, and buy 8 burgers = 1 stamp. Buy another 8 burgers on the same day = no stamp because I’ve already been given my stamp for the day. No thank you 😅

—— review I’ve probably had over 70 burgers from Burger LDN — hands down the best smash burger in London at the time. Not even over exaggerating.

The price is fair, nothing outrageous.

I gave 3 stars purely because of the inconsistency in their loyalty policy.

Let me explain:

One time, I bought 6 burgers and received 6 stamps. On another occasion, I did the same and again got 6 stamps. Great deal and a solid loyalty scheme — it definitely encouraged me to keep coming back.

Then, on a different visit, I was served by someone new. I ordered 8 burgers and only got 1 stamp. I asked why, and he said, “One stamp per customer.” I followed up with, “If I came back later and bought another 8, would I still only get 1?” His reply: “No, One stamp per customer, one stamp per day.”

This happened around 8 months ago, and from that moment on, I decided not to return.

The burgers are good — no doubt about that — but the inconsistency in staff and unclear policies is really disappointing.

If you’re going to run a loyalty program, at least be consistent and recognise the value both sides bring to the table. There are plenty of great smash burger spots in London, so it’s not hard to...

🍽 Smokey BBQ Burger. Classic two patty smash burger with gherkins, gem lettuce, melted cheese, turkey rashers, in-house BBQ sauce and caramelised onions. I opted out on the rashers as I wasn't sure if it had Sodium Nitrate. Nevertheless, the rest of the toppings were spot on! The patties were tender, juicy and succulent. As for the Rinkoff bun elevated the burger to another  level making it a perfect combination.

We also tried their buttermilk wings, they had a good selection: Scotch Spicy, Lemon and Herb, Garlic Mayo and Oriental Sweet. The Oriental, Lemon and Herb flavours were good pick as well; however, my favourite was the Scotch Spicy.

All food is prepared fresh, which gives a better taste than your normal dried patty. .

📒 Full halal menu . 🍸No alcohol sold . 💰 Smokey BBQ Burger £5.99, Skin on fries £1.99, Cherry drink £1.80 and Buttermilk Fried wings are 4 for £4.99. ✳ Receive 15% off from total order when you mention kam vs food✳ . 🎭 Good customer service from staff . 🛋 This place ideal for take away. It's not an actual restaurant. St Katherine's Dock is short distance away- which is a scenic place . 📋 Food Standards Agency hygiene: 🔰not listed on the FSA website...
