A regular at this premise who was first lured into trying the food due to the smells when walking past the neighbourhood. The owners Marcio and Marina have been serving me well during my visits and this food stall has become one of my favourite restaurants ever since. P.S. they portion and price ratio is also excellent for London price. I would say it costs less than £10/pp for someone with a normal appetite. I just happen to eat a lot to spend £20 on my visits. They do not have an enormous menu or a late working hour compare to the common fast food takeouts. However they serve high quality and fresh ingredients which are then prepared with care and love. They also serve daily specials, which include the famous Brazilian stew, or some even call it the national dish, Feijoada. All of the ingredients are fresh, and cooked to perfection. The beef and chicken are grilled to the perfect tenderness, so they are still moist and juicy on the inside. Salad is fresh, well balanced and their vinaigrette is highly refreshingly which is a good touch to a carb/meat heavy meal. Rice and beans are also well cooked and seasoned, it’s not mushy and also flavourful. You can also see from my pictures that they also don’t skim out with the meat on their sandwiches. I don’t dare to eat them on the street as I know I will guarantee drop some of the meat while devouring it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone who is part of the Pop Skewer.

I go to this place once a week since it's near my office, so this review is long overdue! The food here is top quality, well priced and unpretentious. If you're on a budget, try the sandwich (the mortadella version is delicious and super cheap), but if you want to push the boat out then definitely give one of their specials a go. Their feijoada is insane and one of the best takeaways I've had in London. However, it's the service that makes this one of my favourite places around - always super friendly, kind, and welcoming. Five stars!!

For a kiosk it is simply the best experience you can have in terms of Brazilian homemade food and friendliness. Simple, tasty, varied and laid back. Found it by chance as I was driving on my way to work. The Eli's Kiosk is right next to it with original, delicious savoury snacks and deserts. I am very picky when it comes to Brazilian coxinha, well, she's got it. Mouth watering. Soft potato based dough, stuffed with herbs seasoned shredded chicken breast. Thank you guys. Great work there. Will be two of my go-to little hidden gems.

Holy moly this place is the absolute best. Sorry, sorry, but I literally cannot contain my excitement about this place. In an unassuming food truck minipod under the DLR in Shadwell/Wapping/Aldgate, you can eat literally the best sandwiches ever. Ordering a chicken or beef sandwich opens up a portal to a world of intense and delicious flavors, each blending together perfectly. The meat, grilled and seasoned to perfection, is placed in a hand-toasted fresh cibatta roll. Coat the cibatta with garlic aioli, add some siracha mayo as well as lettuce and tomato, and you've got heaven in a sandwich. Not to mention the service, which is just extraordinary. The people there are extremely nice and polite, they ask about your day, and literally the second time I've been there, the man taking the order remembered what I had ordered a week before...and that guy wasn't even taking orders a week before, he was cooking! COME TO POP SKEWER!!! I promise that you...

The kiosk may would have gone unnoticed if it wasn’t for the delicious smell and people gathering to buy food.

I’ve ordered the dish of the day: rice, black beans (Brazilian feijoada), potato salad and beef skewer. The seasoning made the simple dish very tasty.

I also tasted other dishes from my friends’ plate ( we all shared between us 😉) and everything was delicious. There are several options to pick from the menu, including Halal chicken and vegetarian dishes.

The owners are very welcoming and friendly.

Added bonus is that you can park for free on Saturdays.

We are planning our next...
