We really should have listened to other people! Lovely looking pub but that's the only thing nice! We arrived as a small group, on arrival we was greeted/insulated by a drunk (the owner) we choose to ignore he's racist / sexist comments! More full us. We sat in the garden so we could escape wondering eyes and sniggering comments clearly aimed at us. My friend set up a bar tab because others was joining. We Ordered food when it arrived it was cold, greasy, and clearly not fresh. We asked for a refund and was refused because part of the food was eaten. We didn't order any more drinks because of this when we asked for the bill their was several other drinks on our tab. When we questioned the bill the bar lady was adamant they was ours but they clearly was not. She reluctantly removed the added drinks. I have heard from several people this is a thing the staff do in all their pubs to scam tourists but we are tourists unluckily for them and we spotted it. Nice try. I would totally avoid this venue. Drunk owner, thieving staff, the worst Thai food I have ever tasted and very expensive drinks! They charge premium prices for below average drinks! Never again and we work local . We will be sure to spread the word about the Princess of prussia and...

Very lovely authentic pub near Tower Bridge. Last time I've found this pub was in 2013, when I searched for an authentic and well-run pub with an excellent range of British ales and good food. Back then I found everything I'd loved about pubs in this little jewel, and now coming back after 2 years it seems the spirit is continuing and the pub has even improved! So to sum up:

Drinks: there's a range of ales and beers, which are excellent in taste and quality, and the price is what you have everywhere in zones 1-2 in London (i.e. around £4-5 per pint).

Food: had a burger and French fries. Burger was best I've had in London so far, meat was fresh, tasty and tender, not the cartilaginous stuff you get in most take away fast food shops; and French fries were freshly fried and tasty.

Service: just excellent - attentive, warm and welcoming, inviting you to stay a while longer than intended.

Atmosphere: warm and cosy, and there's a lovely green garden to sit outside in the backyard.

In addition, this pub does not seem to be as overcrowded as others in the area, most likely due to the entrance not being as big and "attractive" as others, i.e. from outside it doesn't look that much, but inside it's all you'll ever...

Everything was good this is my usual pub I Use to come very often and was well known to all the bar staff/workers to Dan i am an old customer of his and he was always great, a new worker named Daniel is awesome too he was Very friendly and had exceptional service and attitude ! He was great but the reason I am writing this is as I never usually complain is when I was met with warren today I felt unwelcome I asked a simple question asking him if he knew what was happening with a table that was very messy and only had a kid sitting and waiting he replied with arrogance and unexpected he was very disrespectful. When I ordered a drink online he just brought it to the table without any words such as enjoy he just put it down and left I also did notice he wasn’t the most talkative to his coworkers, possibly creating a hostile work environment. I hope his Attitude makes amends because for a first time coming in a long time it wasn’t a nice feeling I was expecting a warm hospital environment which I half received. I hope he gets spoken too and corrected! Otherwise...

If you find yourself near Tower Bridge, I highly recommend visiting this pub for a relaxed night out. The atmosphere is exceptionally cozy, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. The pub offers plenty of space, including a beautiful beer garden where you can unwind with food and drinks. While the menu features classic options such as fish and chips and burgers, the highlight is the exceptional Thai cuisine, which is truly delicious. The drinks are equally impressive, with well-maintained lines ensuring top-quality pours—I haven’t enjoyed a pint of Guinness as much as I did here in quite some time! Additionally, the pub has a jukebox, allowing you to play your favorite songs throughout the venue, adding to the lively yet relaxed ambiance. I highly recommend this pub!

Super friendly staff. Perfect pub vibe. This was my first (unintentional) stop in London on a solo trip. It was close to my hostel and I was looking for a quick bite + pint. Their kitchen opens later - I think 19:00 - and it was easy to stay entertained with great conversation with the staff and very approachable pub goers while I waited. I was there during the week during what would still be considered happy hour and noticed the place to be filled predominantly with men. Not a problem for me...! I ordered non traditional British food, some concoction of cauliflower, lentils and goat cheese. Stay away from that... go with the traditional menu and you should be just fine! Fair prices, great beer selection.

Beautiful pub and wonderful ladies running the bar! My husband and I were staying in the area on vacation and we were struggling to find places that were open on Saturday night after 10pm (it's a business area so they are busiest after work hours during the week). We were walking by and decided to pop in for a quick look. The pub is very pretty and well kept! The ladies working greeted us kindly and we immediately sat down and started chatting with them. This ended up being our favorite pub visit the whole week we were in London. We will be sure to stop back next time we are in the UK!
