Reply to the owner: The picture speaks for itself – there is clearly still meat and chips visible, not just bones as you claim. Please do not misrepresent the situation or portray me as a greedy customer. I experienced digestive issues for days after eating the chicken.

Doing so without my explicit consent would be a breach of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, which protect personal data from unlawful processing and disclosure. Regarding the chicken itself: serving undercooked poultry poses a serious public health risk and may constitute an offence under the Food Safety Act 1990 and associated Food Hygiene Regulations. Chicken that is pink, contains blood, or is not cooked through can contain dangerous pathogens such as Salmonella and Campylobacter, which can cause serious illness. The fact that I returned the food immediately and still experienced digestive issues is relevant to these safety concerns.
I leave the history of this issue here: this is my original review:
They served me raw chicken, which still had reddish blood in it. I ordered it as a takeaway - luckily, I live pretty close by, so when I saw it, I brought it back immediately.
I don’t know what’s more disgusting: the fact that they tried to feed me raw chicken, or the server’s (possibly the owner’s) reaction to it. He kept telling me he would make me a new one. I tried to explain that I had completely lost my appetite - and even if I still wanted to eat, it definitely wouldn’t be from there - but he barely listened. I asked for a refund from the very beginning, but when he saw he couldn’t convince me to accept a replacement, he started getting pushy, saying I had almost eaten the whole thing!
Firstly: I brought back almost a full plate. I had barely touched the fries, and yes, I had eaten some of the chicken - and I’m still genuinely worried that I might get food poisoning from it. What kind of reaction is that? The chicken was visibly raw and clearly inedible, but instead of apologising, they kept resisting my request for a refund and even tried to claim that I had eaten most of it. I eventually got a refund, but only after having to repeat myself multiple times.
I do not recommend this...
Read moreI used to walk past this unassuming restaurant everyday in the past with the intention of trying it out, but never got round to it. So other day decided to have dinner with my wife at whim.
The restaurant is an authentic Palestinian and lebanese cuisine using traditional family recipes.
We ordered vine leaves for starters, mix grill with rice and grill charcoal piecea with chips.
The food is all cooked freshed, so it took a while maybe around 20 minutes. But it was well worth it...
The vine leaves were fresh, hot and the filling was gorgeous and the sauce it was sprinkled with was delicious.
The mix grille with rice was just to die for. The lamb kebabs were full of flavour and the charcoal chicken was superb, they were all juicy with flavours, not greasy and healthy..the rice was top quality and the salad was delicious with the dressing and very fresh.
The chips were excellent done and the chilli like.meze lebanese sauce was delicious. I did not even have to use sauce much because the dishes were so rich in flavour and juicy.
I was very surprised by the food and how good it was and the prices are reasonable, the shop is small but cosy and is clean.
honestly one of the best places Inhave eaten and will be.coming back for more! Something i dont often say for most restaurants!
The service is excellent, it is family run and the lady was extremely,.nice, friendly...
