We visited this restaurant on Mother’s Day for a quick lunch. There were four of us plus a toddler, and while the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, the atmosphere inside felt quite dull—there was no music or energy to make the experience more enjoyable. We ordered from both the regular menu and the set menu. The starters were average at best, but the main courses were a real disappointment considering the prices. I ordered the fillet steak, which cost £33, and it arrived with only a few fries and a sprinkle of parsley on the side—definitely not worth the price. I had also ordered a side of broccoli, but the portion was so small that even the manager was surprised and offered us another one free of charge. To make matters worse, I never received my peppercorn sauce, and since no one came to check on our meals, I didn’t get the chance to ask for it. The service was quite slow; we waited a long time for both our main courses and desserts. Overall, the food was below average, and for the prices they charge, I expected much better. It was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t rush back.

Food Quality ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ Service ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ Ambience ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ Value ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ Great new discover! I personally always though Cote Brasserie was just another chain with the usual chain vibe and feel to it. I was wrong! This particular one had a great atmosphere and it really seemed like being in a parisian restaurant. The customer service was really careful. A good balance between formal and laid back I think. Very quick service as well. Greatest discovery for me personally were the squid rings: the breadcrumb was so light and crunchy while the squid was tender. One of the best creme caramel I had in a long time. The only not particularly happy surprise was the bill. Paid around 40£ each. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service.. you pay for what you get! Will try other restaurants of the same chain for sure!

A great restaurant with a really nice airy main room and a small outdoor eating area as well. The food is fantastic and considering the quality of it it is also really good value, particularly the fixed menu. I had the fixed price 3 course menu and enjoyed each course. The charcuterie board to start was generous and a nice change on a warm day. The steak frites was excellent and I upgraded to the sirloin, do bear in mind that this is a French restaurant when ordering the steak though, medium rare is closer to rare but that is fine with me. And the chocolate mouse was a great way to round off the meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive and made the meal very enjoyable. I would recommend for a high quality and good value meal.

I don't usually write reviews, but this time I had to. Nothing to say about the food, which was nice and tasty. One thing completely ruined our dinner, though. The supervisor was incredibly rude to some of the staff members. As they were serving customers and bringing dishes back, she would tell them off and - this is what really bothered me! - she would do the same when they were on their break to the point where they couldn't even finish their meal!

As a professional in the hospitality field for more than two decades, I would never accept this kind of despotic behaviour towards the floor staff, especially in front of the customers! The incident was deplorable, and I felt bad for those young guys.

At the end of the day, it all comes to ethics and good manners. As managers and supervisors, we should educate and inspire our workers. Think about it: they could be your children or siblings. Would you ever bully them just because you are older?

No matter if a staff member is slower than others or if they don't fully meet your expectations. They are doing their best, working a tiring job they probably didn't study for, that wears on their body when they go home (late at night). You don't have any f* right to be annoying to them.

Managers, supervisors. Show some empathy and appreciation, and remember where you came from. Probably you were just like them when you started.

Oh, by the way. The waiters...

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally report a very disappointing experience we had during our recent visit to your restaurant, due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the receptionist on duty.

Description of the Incident:

From the moment we arrived, the receptionist’s attitude was completely unacceptable. She: • Greeted us with a cold and unfriendly attitude, showing no signs of basic hospitality. • Spoke to us in a harsh and dismissive tone, making us feel unwelcome. • Avoided eye contact and ignored our questions as if we were bothering her. • Was clearly uninterested in assisting us or providing any kind of proper customer service. • Made us feel as if our presence was a nuisance, rather than being valued guests. • Showed no professionalism or courtesy, which reflects poorly on the reputation of your establishment.

This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing role. A receptionist is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire dining experience. Unfortunately, in this case, her attitude ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable visit.

However there was a waiter named Divya she was kind and helpful and made our experience better.

We hope that appropriate action will be taken regarding this matter, and that staff are properly trained to treat all customers with respect, kindness, and...

My girlfriend been previously to the different branch from Victoria and she enjoyed so we popped in since we were in this area, We arrived one of the managers seat us. Ordered a cocktail and a bottle of wine and the waiter didn’t even give us time to order water because he was walking away to other tables before giving us a chance to ask for anything else. They delivered the drinks and didn’t ask if we wanted to order any food. Few mins after I called a waiter to order starters and I said later I would order mains. The starters came quite fast. We asked more bread to the waiter and took 20mins to arrived, and arrived just because we asked the second time to check it. Meanwhile the other waiters were passing by not even checking or coming to our table do to a check back. When we finish the starters we were waiting for our table to be clear so we could order mains, but since no one came over to check or clean the table I told my girlfriend we eat somewhere else. Asked the bill and again no one passed by to take the payment. When I was leaving on their till I asked to pay and the waiter took the payment and didn’t said a word, no thank you or anything like that. It’s ridiculous at what point of customer service we had received. Don’t advise this place not about the food because we never reach the point of trying the mains but the...
