What a delight! First time to this branch. I travel a lot and often have to dine solo which I don't mind. Some restaurants single you out but Côte Brasserie are very welcoming to all guests. Despite how busy they were on a Saturday evening, I was warmly greeted upon arriving, seated at a nice table and had excellent service throughout. Staff were attentive, yet left guests to dine in peace and enjoy their meal. I am a big fan of customer service. I have just come back from Japan where service is outstanding. I always find in the UK, we are one of the worse for service. However, Côte Brasserie is starting to make me have faith again. Well done! Great menu of French classics but there are other options too including steaks and salads. Hearty but good food. Calories and nutritional information are displayed on the menu which is helpful. I had the vegan Côte burger which came with frites. Freshly made, well presented and delicious. Messy to eat but so good. My Saturday treat! I actually felt shy when I fully cleaned up my plate but I was hungry and was looking forward to a burger. It delivered. I had a still water to drink so I was a bit healthy! Lovely branch with mainly indoor seating, plus a few tables outside. Lovely ambience and nice views too. They are busy given location so book a table. A lot of people were turned away or had to come back. Clean. Dessert looked good but I was stuffed. What Côte have also done well is not put up prices too much, especially in comparison to competitors. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I was with my friends for dinner there. We ordered Onion Soup and Steak Rib-eye 👍The French Onion Soup was creamy and delicious. One of the best onion soups I ever tried. 👎The Rib Eye Steak wasn’t good. Because even though it was rare or medium it wasn’t juicy and it Didn’t have taste of stake at all. And the souse (garlic and butter) wasn’t tasty as well. 👉The Confit Duck A L’Orange was also ok, because it doesn’t have reach taste like it has to be, and the meat is so crazy soft (strange) (was softer then even chicken). Good duck doesn’t have to be that soft. 👉 Baked Ratatouille was ok. Wasn’t enough taste of vegetables or so. A bit tasteless as the rib Eye stake. 👍The Creme Caramel it was the only really tasty dish (dessert)😜 👍 The Creme Caramel Royal was also good but as for me and my friends not so good as one above ☝️ 📌All the dishes looked amazing and tasty like 5* but when you eat them it’s like 3* Especially for such a nice place in such a cool area 😶The staff could be more friendly, smile and paid more attention to the customers. We came at 6 pm, and there was not too crowded and we got our food just in 1 hour😓, And as we are tourists, as we noticed, the staff served faster for British people than for us and others who were also around us..

We dined here for an anniversary meal. My partner being French, loves a good brasserie… Very polite staff and we were allowed to choose where we could sit. It was busy but not rammed. My partner opted for their set menu, reasonably priced and with good choices on it from main menu. I opted for my favourite starter Chicken Liver parfait. It was very good. My partners onion soup was almost a full meal (see photo) Very well flavoured. Main courses were rib-eye and Minute steak. Both up to par. Remember a minute steak is always small… The only issue was when my partner chose her cheeses for the mini cheeseboard they delivered two she had chosen and then Cantal instead of Comte.. the waitress didn’t/couldn’t understand the issue and the manager had difficulty too! I explained that I was a cheesemonger and my partner is French! Only then did she concede we may be right. I suspect the kitchen had run out of Comte and they rely on people not knowing the difference! 🤓 Apart from this we had a lovely, relaxed and enjoyable evening and I felt it was well priced for what we had. This being modern London we didn’t see a single French member of staff (the cheese issue would have been simply solved) but hey, maybe the staff learnt a little about cheese

The chef’s cooking was really good especially the beef steaks !! 👍 but the team’s service was totally awful !!!😢 I went to this place with my friends for dinners on last Sunday ,. they service was slowly though it wasn’t even busy at all and they just find a table for us ! And they brought us to a table and one of the chair 🪑 had used chewing gum on it 🤢 after my friend sat down in the chair and the chewing gum all over his pants and he went to toilet to remove for 15mins at least !! Then we told their staff about it , they didn’t even say “sorry ” just changed the chair and go away ! It seemed that it happens regularly!🤣 Before we got the order , we asked the staff about the Sunday set and she told us that all starters including the price which was £25 per person . After we having finished the meal and they gave us the bill which was extra charge for the starters !! We called the staffs to change it and they even took so long to do it then they gave us a second bill which still a wrong amount of money! I guess they used to do this way just give the wrong pill plus charge customers extra money if nobody wants to check the bill ! Then we had to call the staffs again and asking to change it ! After ages , finally they gave us a correct bill but with a very unhappy face also just putting it on our bill rudely !!! 🥲 From everything started to the end , we didn’t even see their manager turn up and sort it out , but I’m sure I saw they had a manager at the beginning who in a white suit when we just went in the restaurant .😅 We do really enjoyed the foods , but unfortunately theirs working team and their ‘s service is completely terrible and the lady who was in dark suit even Throw our bill heavily on the table when we were just leaving the door . It was my first time been there and it will be my last time and I will not recommend any of my friends to go there . Especially they’re not being honest when you ask for...

Really lovely meal at cote this afternoon, after no restaurants had a table at Southbank we decided to travel to the Blackfriars/St Paul’s estate to see if there were any decent restaurants available here.Thankfully there were plenty available so decided to eat here.We were greeted immediately and shown to an extremely clean table. The staff were all really friendly.A fantastic gluten free menu with plenty of choice.Everything was expensive though…however I suppose cote is a once in a while meal. The food was great,my pate for starters was lovely bread was delicious, same as the apple dip and the chicken liver spread. Also my mains were delicious too,the poulet Breton was delicious, succulent, tender, good portion size and piping hot.I love it that you got 2 1/4 chickens. It’s basically Nando’s plain chicken but a little marinaded. But I suppose getting an extra chicken leg, chips and watercress is where the value is good for that meal. The chips were delicious too, very fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips don’t taste factory produced and taste authentic and rich in flavour. Also just ordered water for the table,a really big pitcher was delivered to our table and when the waitress noticed our pitcher was empty she got another pitcher full of water straight away.Service wasn’t the quickest so I would recommend you plan carefully if you are trying to catch a theartre show or go to an attraction.Waited about 40 minutes for starter and 30 minutes for mains. But we didn’t mind waiting as we wernet in a hurry and the food was worth the wait!!!!!Also decor very nice too.I love the Christmas decs. Please be aware that this place is a 3 star...
