Cellar is the most consistently four star experience I’ve had in a while. Everything about it is good. Nothing is average, nothing is incredible. It’s good. The ambiance? Good. Small, cosy, a good place to crack our some emails during the day, or meet after work. The clientele is marketing types in their early twenties and couples on dates. So people trying to impress each other. The drinks are good. A good selection of beers, a good array of cocktails. The cocktails are…good. But not great. The amaretto sour I had weighted a bit too much on the lemon. The popcorn old fashioned a bit too sweet. There’s a good beer and wine list. I valued their spirits being higher end / harder to find makes. The food is good - a small selection, with protein bowls Bing very popular. The burger comes cooked- you won’t be choosing how but it’s tasty enough, as are the thin fries. In all, it’s good! Clean bathrooms, nice food, pleasing array of drinks. There’s things that could be better, but it’s good enough.

This restaurant is located outside the Broadway Shopping Centre in Hammersmith, just a few minutes from the underground station, making it very convenient. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but since it was cold, we chose to dine inside. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The menu had limited options for lunch. We ordered a Buttermilk Chicken Burger with rosemary salted fries and a tomato sauce mushroom orecchiette pasta. For drinks, we had a matcha latte and a mocha. The orecchiette felt a bit sour, and the burger was overcooked, showing signs of being burnt when cut open, though the filling was decent. The fries, however, were surprisingly crispy and delicious! As for the coffee, there was no latte art, and the matcha latte was just a white cup of milk with no matcha flavor, making it feel like drinking hot milk. The mocha also lacked a strong chocolate taste. Overall, a bit disappointed and we don’t think we’ll come back again.

We came upon this lovely, cosy, friendly place by coincidence and are very pleased we did. As it was coffee time we had that with the most delicious croissants we have ever had! The service was great and the staff very friendly. So all in all everything fit in nicely. We had a look at the 'All Day Menu' and decided that we'll definitely have to be back to sample the interesting looking dishes. See you soon! 👍😊

I wanted to like this place so bad...Hammersmith so needs a great place to go to. Unfortunately this is not it.

On the positive side, the atmosphere is really cute, a welcome respite from the busy Hammersmith circle. The drinks menu is extensive and well priced. I would recommend for the drinks.

However, there are many negatives. The service was really bad. Had reservation, but took me asking three different people to get the table. Was seated and then no one took our order for 15 minutes. So, again, asked three different people to take order. Food arrived promptly but without the drinks!

Of the four plates we ordered, two were inedible, and the other two were barely passable. I had a grilled heritage tomato salad that was filled with lukewarm unseasoned tiny unripe tomatoes. I also had a slab of "burrata" (not sure you could officially call it that) lathered in a thick smear of bitter mystery sauce. Both were so unappetising that after one bite I was done. My daughter had passable fries and buttermilk chicken bites, but you could get much better at any fast food place.

I hope they can get the service and food sorted, as it is a welcome...

I'm new to the UK and was spending a week in Hammersmith and trying to take on as much food and drink culture that I could. After many days of heavier pub fair, I needed something light. I was wandering around and saw this spot with some really beautiful outdoor seating and decided to pop in. I went simple and light and just got the Spiced Chickpea salad with Roasted Vegetables and paired that with a glass of the house rosé. The salad was lovely and perfectly dressed, which may seem odd to mention, but I think we've all had salad soup, and the mix of seasonal veggies perfectly complimented the salad. The house rosé was perfectly fine on it's own, but with the salad there was a certain petrol quality that came out that I wasn't a fan of, but I blamer buyer not seller, on that one. I would stick with a white or light red. Now, I know that service culture is a bit different here, but given that there were only 3 tables at any given time, I did feel as though I was flagging and chasing the...
