My recent visit to Chai Wala at Brent Cross was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe that left me utterly dismayed. The distressing ordeal began when I discovered a hair lurking in my dish, shattering any remnants of confidence I had in the restaurant's hygiene standards. To add insult to injury, the way the workers dealt with the situation was beyond belief. Instead of a sincere apology, there was an audible laughter that echoed through the establishment, as if my grievance was a source of amusement. It was an appalling display of unprofessionalism that left me questioning the integrity of the entire establishment. When I brought up the issue, the response was not only callous but also devoid of empathy. Rather than acknowledging the gravity of the situation, they nonchalantly offered a replacement, completely dismissing the option of a refund. It was a stark demonstration of their indifference towards customer satisfaction and a blatant disregard for basic service standards. The most disheartening part was witnessing the laughter shared with the chef, as if my unpleasant experience was a source of entertainment in their kitchen. This lack of accountability and empathy left me not only dissatisfied with the meal but also deeply disturbed by the insensitivity displayed by the staff. Chai Wala's failure to address the issue adequately has irreversibly tainted my perception of the establishment. A dining experience that was meant to be a pleasurable escape turned into a regrettable episode of unhygienic practices and disrespectful customer service. Needless to say, I won't be returning, and I strongly caution others against subjecting themselves to such a disheartening ordeal. I even sent them an email about the situation, and just like their lack of respect, there was a lack of response. Couldn’t recommend...

Chaiiwala at Brent Cross Mall offers a delightful blend of traditional Indian chai and street food, making it an excellent choice for tea lovers and those craving comfort food in a modern setting. Located within the bustling shopping hub of Brent Cross, the café provides a warm and inviting atmosphere where visitors can enjoy a variety of tea blends, snacks, and light bites.

The menu features a selection of authentic chai, including the signature "Chaiiwala Chai," which is made with a perfect balance of spices, milk, and tea leaves. The drink is aromatic, rich, and flavorful, offering a true taste of Indian tea culture. For those who prefer something different, the café also offers iced teas, masala lattes, and refreshing drinks like the "Lassi," all made with fresh ingredients.

Accompanying the drinks is a range of Indian street food that transports you straight to the streets of India. The menu includes mouthwatering options like Samosas, Chaat, and the famous "Pav Bhaji," a spicy vegetable dish served with buttered bread rolls. The food is well-prepared, flavorful, and served hot, making it a satisfying option for both quick bites and more indulgent meals.

The service at Chaiiwala Brent Cross Mall is friendly and efficient, and the staff are always ready to offer recommendations or customize your order to suit personal preferences. The vibrant décor, with its traditional Indian motifs and modern twists, adds to the overall experience.

The prices at Chaiiwala are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it an accessible option for both shoppers and tea enthusiasts. Whether you're grabbing a quick cup of chai after a long shopping spree or looking for a place to relax and enjoy some street food, Chaiiwala at Brent Cross Mall is definitely...

I can't actually give the Brent across store a rating it was that bad! Unfortunately I had to add a star rating so I could add this review!

The food is not diabetic friendly at all, everything had a tonne of sugar and you can't even get sugar free drinks, not even a coke zero. All of the cold chaiis have sugar as well, and the menu does not state it contains sugar.

We had the Karachi Bun Kebab which was supposed to be a lamb and egg burger. The mint sauce was full of sugar, as was the tamarind chutney and the omelette in the burger tasted reheated. The texture of the omelette was inexplicable.

The papad nachos were so awful, greasy and really hard, again reheated in a microwave with the cheese sauce.

The butter chicken roll was just mush and the Masala chips had sugar in the sauce also. I cannot understand why it needs all the sugar!

Needless to say this restaurant is not a good choice for diabetics and I can't see it being any good for anyone without diabetes either. We ended up such sugar highs and I honestly felt like I was in a...

Interesting menu with lots of tasty options. Prices are quite high, but sometimes it's worth it! We tried many things that day – Masala Fries with extra cheese, Aloo Paratha with yogurt and mint chutney, and Cheese Naan were safe picks for my mom who avoids spice, though they were still good! I loved the Butter Chicken and Slaw Toastie – so flavorful. Punjabi Samosa was also lovely and very spicy. We ended with desserts and drinks – I’m a huge fan of Gajar Halwa, and their Gajar Halwa Sundae was heavenly, I fell in love! The Rose Falooda was also delicious, topped with whipped cream. Karak Chai is one of my favorites – we always grab one there when we get the chance.

How disappointing . The food here is tasty but overpriced in my opinion . The English tea was weak and too milky. The omelette roll was disappointing - I paid 30p for Green chillies and hardly any were added. 30p for onion and I couldn’t detect any at all. One lamb rasher was hardly visible and cost £1.50. It looks nothing like the picture and was overpriced. In our second roll the green chillies were also lacking. In addition I did table order/service and expected my order to be brought to me as I am disabled. The young person came out to my table to tell me my order was ready to collect! She could have brought it with her! The pain puri was nice but expensive.
