I just had a very upsetting and disappointing experience at the Brent Cross location today (Saturday, 2nd August at 14:20). I ordered a latte with two shots of vanilla syrup, but the staff member (a blonde woman with short hair at the till) entered it as a double shot of coffee instead. When I politely corrected her, she insisted I was wrong and responded in a rude and dismissive way. Her irritated tone and the look on her face made it clear she had no interest in actually listening or helping. When I then asked if they had coconut milk, her attitude got even worse—completely unprofessional and unhelpful.
At that point, I decided not to go ahead with my drink and instead tried to order a tea for my mother, who is diabetic and urgently needed something to drink. She had picked up a bagel from a nearby shop because there were barely any food options available at this location. Before I could explain, another staff member who I believe was called Anna abruptly told me I wont be allowed to place an order at all because of the outside food. No empathy, no attempt to understand—just a cold, embarrassing public refusal.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the customer service I received during my recent visit. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome and like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The staff were incredibly slow, and it was clear they had no sense of urgency. What was even more frustrating was observing them laughing and chatting amongst themselves while customers waited. When they finally did attend to me, their demeanor was off-putting; they made faces and seemed visibly annoyed to be interacting with clients. This kind of attitude makes a customer feel truly terrible and unwelcomed. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. So, we got an iced latte from another cafe and ordered coffee and a few desserts from this one. One of the employees (I think her name was Eda) said she wouldn't serve us the coffees if we drank the iced latte, almost threatening us. When I took a sip, she ran over and told us she had been watching me on the camera and made us leave. She was very rude. We couldn't understand why she made such a fuss over one coffee that didn't even have a brand name on it.
