Chi Chi & the Pasta Family — Restaurant in London

I have known Sid and Midhu for a while. One day, out of curiosity, I asked Midhu about her workplace as I was looking for food options for our short film crew. That was it. Midhu took charge immediately. She sent me the menu, which I shared with the cast and crew. Everyone thought the food looked great, so we decided to order from there.

With everyone choosing their own meals, we ended up ordering almost every type of pasta on the menu. The food arrived on time, freshly cooked, and in generous portions. The Parmesan and other sauces were served separately but in large amounts. The crew absolutely loved it. We were so impressed that we placed another order for the next day. On top of that, Midhu even got us a discount.

I recently stopped by this little pasta kiosk in Spitalfields, and I have to say, it’s an absolute gem. The beef ragu rigatoni was seriously impressive—rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the slow-cooked beef was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

But what really keeps me coming back is their tiramisu. It’s light, creamy, and has just the right amount of coffee kick. I can’t resist grabbing one every time I’m in the area!

Great little fresh pasta food truck at Spittalfields Market. We were meant to be on holiday in Sardinia, but our flight was cancelled, and this certainly helped us to feel like we were in Italy. Lovely friendly staff, amazing fresh pasta, we went for the large bowls but the portions were so good we probably didn't need too. They told us about the Nonna's family recipes and even advised us about our upcoming trip and trying to get a refund from the airline. Following their advice we got put up in a hotel for the night for free rather than sleeping on the airport floor. We would definitely go back again, delicious, fresh, authentic and reasonable...
