I used to adore the pistachio croissant in this place. I haven't had it for a while, and today, I've thought of treating myself to what I can remember the best pistachio croissant I've ever had. My husband came back with this unrecognisable croissant that I had to ask him 5x if he's sure that he got from the same place. Unfortunately, the burnt croissant topped with pistachio cream is not what I expect from a place I brag about having a great freshly baked croissants in the street. The quality has gone down massively. Not worth the new expensive price of £2.50 each. P. S. This comment is specifically for the pistachio croissant.

Their salads and sandwiches are amazing - always made with fresh Italian produce and they use fresh herbs to amp up the flavours. I always try something different and have been going there for years. Great wine selection and I love their deli choices. You can always get good quality pasta, sauces like organic pesto or tomato & herb sauces and wines. Great little local. Here I’m eating a No11 sandwich with Cotto ham, rocket, mozzarella, rosemary and sun dried tomato on fresh foccaccia YUM

Honestly, one of the best Italian sandwich shops in London that I’ve been to. I had number 17 - absolutely delicious with the truffle paste. Even the coffees here are on point which is often tough for a shop with such big breadth of food. The tell of good meat quality for a sandwich is that it’s not too tough to chew or a choking hazard - this place nailed it. I managed to eat this with a recent surgery. Worth a trip down for this.

Great coffee. I've got to go back and check on lunchtime type snacks and the food in the delicatessen part of the premises.

They are very dog friendly which is important for me as I've got 3 Labradors.

Update in 2022 This is still a lovely place and it's great it's come through Covid unscathed. Some new staff but the important essentials remain, great coffee, good pastries and fabulous Italian food and sandwiches.

I still go here and although I've not done much more than drink the excellent coffee but there are still many other customers ordering pasta and special sandwiches.

September 2022 Its still glorious and, as with good paces everywhere, there are always little changes so you spot things you've not trued before. Of course, all those new things are delicious.

April 2023 Now this is my go to coffee place as its only a short walk away. The food and coffee remain excellent despite the inevitable staff turnover as well as a few changes in their sandwich menu which attracts many locals.

It's worth trying the deli part of the operation and trying some of the authentic Italian produce.

If there is a downside it is that often its...

What a great addition to Churchfield Road!

Firstly, the atmosphere is great, and although the queueing system isn't particularly spacious, this isn't a downside because they did this to enable the seating areas to be more comfortable. Sensible choice really.

The coffee is excellent - I've mostly encountered Italians behind the counter - so I'd expect nothing less, quite frankly.

The sandwiches are brilliant! They offer toasted options too - which I love. They make it right in front of you - no worries about having old stock or yesterday's vegetables... And it's just fresh goodness with an authentic Italian flavour... In my humble opinion.

At the back of the store there's a selection of Italian groceries... Also brilliant... I often buy these gluten-free yoghurt flavoured cookies which are special indeed ... Try them.

All round - greateful to have such a fantastic store on Churchfield Road... May they have continued success. I wasn't paid or asked to write...

Recently open by the owner of a well known ā€˜Station Pub’, Churchfield food store has not only surprised the locals but also people from other areas surrounding Acton. There is no such place anywhere in Ealing or Chiswick. Italians approach to eating and drinking makes a perfect fit with the upcoming patch of Acton, Churchfield Road. This traditional yet very well designed cafe/store is always busy, particularly on sunny days. There is plenty of amazing food to choose from, starting from aranchinas through handmade sandwiches to soups, pasta dishes or meats. This place is a perfect destination for a weekend brunch, Italian food shopping or a casual coffee break. In the evening, if you fancy a glass of red, do not hesitate, Churchfield Food Store offers a great selection of Italian wines by bottle or glass. Well done guys. Your place raises to the...
