If I could give my review 3.5 stars, I would. I went on a balmy Saturday, so the place was a bit busy and service took as long as would be expected. Absolutely no problem there, because the food turned up exactly as it was meant to be. Eggs Royale cooked to perfection.

What's the problem then? Well... That's down to decisions made before the food was plated. For a few pence shy of £10 I'd have hoped for some salad, and maybe a few slices of baguette with oil and balsamic to start, as is customary on the continent with just about any cafe meal at this price or above. It doesn't cost a lot but makes a big difference - especially the salad! And as someone else has mentioned, the hollandaise recipe could use a bit more lemon (though this is down to personal...

Lovely brunch place in Acton 🤍 Since moving to Acton we’ve struggled to find a brunch place with healthy (and tasty) options to eat/drink. After a random walk down Churchfield road we stumbled across Fields. The food, service & atmosphere was great and we definitely will be coming back! We were too hungry to take any pics of our food and as an FYI they also have sweet treats at the counter to select when leaving which is a handy bonus. Very happy customers & even more glad that we found a new local...

Very disappointed after seeing such good reviews. Ordered a muffin and instead of an actual muffin, they used to end slices of a loaf cut into something that somewhat resembled a circle. Think they knew it was a botch job because not once did they come back to ask how the food was, nor did they say anything to us when we left - not even a “thanks” or “bye”. Bf had eggs on toast and the bread had barely seen the toaster. Lots of much better brunch places around the area or...

Despite the lovely weather, I was quite disappointed with our breakfast @Fields. £10.50 for the baked Algerian eggs which came with 3 eggs and a single skinny lamb merguez sausage - no spice, just slightly sweet and cloying. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict was also cloying and tasteless which was unfortunate. Won't be going back

Full English breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about, but for £6.50 should have included tea or coffee as it does everywhere else that does the full English. So was it worth the £8.10? No! However waitress was very friendly. Would go again but NOT for a full breakfast.
